Utiba's handset-based electronic pre-paid topup system is used to sell the vast majority of airtime at Bharti Airtel, Indosat, DTAC, M1 Limited, VMS & Maxis and more than a dozen other telcos around the world. We process more than 10M transactions per day at many sites and up to 700 per second in a number of the larger ones.

Responsible for the successful development and deployment of our custom software development solutions and 24*7 global Support for the telecom industry. Was responsible for M-Commerce and Top-Up solutions both voucher and Voucherless based. Teams were based in India, Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia.

The department that I managed consisted of several teams, including  Implementation, Support, Infrastructure, Managed Services, and  Project Management. Our professional services team had a global remit that required constant travel to deploy our Voucherless software solution with Telco operators around the world. 

The managed services team was responsible for the management of all VOMS systems at our client locations. Implementation of all M-Commerce software systems as well as development of payments systems via POS and another API’s. 

Our systems were used by organizations such as Airtel (LAPU), MTS, Uninor, BSNL,Aircel etc India AxisWorld Indonesia, Maxis Malaysia, SingTel Singapore, Globe , Tigo, Digicel and many other firms globally; Utiba became the 2nd largest provider of custom voucher and Voucherless mobile solutions. 

Revenues increased from $3M USD to $11M USD  due to specific technology solutions, continual improvement program and development best practices which resulted in faster, less complicated deployments that reduced time to market for our solutions.
