How can I ever put my career on mere sheets?

Whenever someone asked me to show them my portfolio, I always had an excuse. Like it's a work in progress.

But I never even brought myself to think about it until yesterday. When I was racking my brain with the theme song of "Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" in the background.

And the idea of SER MUSKAN came from there. I could never do justice to my work, but I hope this solves the purpose.

OMG (imagine me throwing my hands and legs in the air) 🤯 

I’m this excited because I just vibe-coded my first-ever project using Claude Code (GOD BLESS ANTHROPIC). And of course, it had to be something for content and my fellow marketers.

You give it a topic and a few competitor article URLs. It reads those articles first, scraping their headings and content. Then it goes out and searches the web and Reddit to see what people are actually asking and talking about. 

After that, it finds the gaps, the topics competitors either missed or barely touched. And finally, it uses Claude to put together a content brief that tells you exactly what to write, how to structure it, and where you can beat them.

I think I can do a lot more evil work now with some api keys and Claude!

My top 4 things every person working in content, irrespective of their role, should have.

+ A swipe file: not the one floating around the internet, but your own. A place where you store ideas that touched you, writing that spoke to you, graphics that made you feel something. Random ideas you found amusing online or in real life.

+ A dictionary: call me old school, but I still like opening a dictionary and finding the meaning of words. Sometimes I sit and copy down the jargon of the industry. Sort of my own dictionary. I even have one for my fiction writing.

+ Writing sprints: writing at work is fine. But are you writing for yourself? Freely? Without a brief or goal? If not, start doing writing sprints every week or every day. Just write. Keeping a journal helps too.

+ A notebook: a physical notebook with a pen or pencil. Always carry one with you.

These are my top four things that make the work a lot easier and make you a much better content marketer.

I thought LinkedIn was where the intellectuals hang out.

It’s the “professional” platform after all.

But why does everyone agree with everything?

I swear, if a big account says the sun rises from the south, the comments would be:

“Brilliant insight.”
“Never thought about it this way.”
“So true.”

When did questioning become unprofessional?

Why are we so scared to disagree?
Or worse… to be wrong in public?

Some days it feels less like a platform for ideas
and more like a networking event full of polite nodding.

And I’m just here wondering when did we all become yes-men?

I note what they post.

What they like.

Who they interact with.

How active they are during “working hours.”

This isn’t surveillance.

It’s performance alignment.

So when quarterly reviews come, I’m fully prepared to support their growth.

I’m just looking out for their betterment.
