o	Developed socially assistive robots to facilitate interactions with children with autism or other social disabilities.
o	Used Robot Operating System to control movement and speech of robot and JavaScript and Python to develop front-end puzzles on tablets as well as Flask to manage the servers and build the API.
o	Deployed on Cordial, a proprietary environment built to process the child’s interaction with the tablet.

Software Developer Intern

Liferay, Inc

o	Developed web-blog style servlets and client-search servlets deployed on Tomcat. Applied inversion of control, SQL paginated queries, and MVC practices to maximize application security and efficiency. 
o	Learned industry best practices such as: unit testing with JUnit and Mockito, daily Scrum meetings and weekly code reviews.
