With 20+ years in technical and business leadership spanning DoD roles as a federal employee and private-sector small firms I bring proven expertise.  

Currently, as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Mahlet, Inc., I’m leading the charge to redefine enterprise optical network cybersecurity with full-stack, Two-System Integrity (TSI) solutions for high-threat industries.  

Off the clock I'm a fitness enthusiast, personal finance geek, and real-estate investor...on the lighter side, I love socializing with friends, the Cleveland Browns, attending festivals, hitting local breweries, and chilling with a movie and a video game (at the same time🤯).

I've moved a ton throughout my life, but currently find myself with my family in the Washington, D.C. area enjoying all four seasons in moderation.

When I was a federal employee, I had two commutes to get to/from work each day.

The first was by car.
The second by foot.

Just me?

I've found these AFCEA CMD lunches to be both enjoyable and a valuable use of my time and resources.

My humble undergrad Alma Matter, the University of Akron, scored a bid through our conference tournament victory

(3rd year in a row...no big deal, but it does mean we're the best ever)

Miami of Ohio scored an at-large bid due to their national ranking/impressive season record

SALT TYPHOON hacked roughly 200 telecommunications companies across the globe.

"The hacks allowed China to obtain call records, text messages, and captured phone audio from senior U.S. officials..."

But now that they've been caught, I'm sure they'll stop 😉

But for real though...we need to do better.

It's the APT that's been inside critical networks for months. Silent. Waiting...

Extensive, well-rounded nursing background with emphasis on research, holistic healthcare, cardiac, cardiovascular thoracic, psychiatric and clinical informatics nursing.  Considerable amount of time spent in the stepdown ICU environment.  Clinical skills, teaching, and computers are my strengths - sought out for my expertise in these areas.
