I'm a Product Manager with experience working cross-functionally with business roles (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Sales), technical roles (e.g. Backend and front-end engineers, data scientists) as well as designers and UX researchers to bring products to life that make our users' problems and pain-points go away!

I have experience working with Web and Mobile products, AI and Machine Learning - There's something really fascinating about using data to try and predict the future. I'm a big believer that every model should be thoroughly thought from an AI Ethics point of view.

As a product manager I have to wear different hats every day and I excel at working cross-functionally. My experience and feedback has taught me that I bring value to the teams I work with because:

- I empathize with users and speak: geek, data whisperer, designer, marketer and salesperson. At some point I also tried to learn Shriiwook (I've always wanted to understand Chewbacca like Han did). Understanding means fewer mistakes, and mistakes can be very costly.

- I'm passionate about understanding customers, too many people use "customer obsession" as buzzwords in their resume.

- I leave the BIG ideas to the Elon Musks of the world. A good Strategy, Vision and Execution drives products forward - I do these three.

- I'm an engineer at heart and a musician at soul - I like to combine logic with creativity

- I'm the calm one. I'm the one that plans.

Builder life looks different than people imagine.

A full-time job, a side hustle, three kids, co-authoring a new book and a car that has hosted an unreasonable number of calls from the school parking lot 30 minutes before pickup.

Oddly, this is also when I’m most productive.

Today I jokingly told ChatGPT:

“I’m about to delete you. Bye 👋”

Its reply made me realize that a year ago I was asking it for basic tasks, today it’s literally helping me ship 100 Mac minis to students taking our new agentic AI course so they can run agents locally at home.

We escalated quickly.

P.S. I didn’t delete it (and you can also get a mac mini as it figured out how to do this at scale 🙃). I’ll send you the info if you comment!

That weird, modern anxiety of building with AI.

I’m not talking about the "AI will take my job" fear. I’m talking about Tool Anxiety.
It’s that nagging feeling that if you stop paying attention for a single week, you’ll fall behind forever. In the AI era, the old rules don't apply. As my mentor Deb Liu said the other day: it’s no longer big eats small—it’s fast eats slow.

Why the tool era creates anxiety (even for high-performers): The root of the problem is decision fatigue disguised as ambition. We think: “If there are infinite options, I might pick the wrong one.”

We end up paralyzed by the "perfect" stack instead of actually building.
My stack for 'ευδαιμονία' (Eudaimonia): In Greek philosophy, this isn't just "happiness"—it’s a life well-lived. For AI builders, that means moving from chaos to craft.

Here is how I’m replacing the "tool carousel" with a builder's mindset:
✨ Pick a North Star outcome, not a tool: 
The problem defines the tech, not the other way around.
✨ Build toolchains, not collections: 
How do they work together? If a tool doesn’t talk to the others, it’s just clutter.
✨ Set a hard budget for optimization: 
Stop tweaking the prompts once they hit "great." Diminishing returns are real.
✨ Replace “keep up” with a weekly ship: 
One concrete project shipped beats 100 newsletters read.
✨ Protect your identity: 
You are a builder, not a "user" of [Product X]. Tools change; your ability to solve problems shouldn't.

One of my favorite ways to understand where AI is going is to explore APIs (before the tooling around them exists).

APIs tend to reveal the shift earlier than the products built on top of them. This week I spent some time playing with the You.com Research API.

This API was interesting, it ran multiple searches, read sources, cross-referenced them, and produced a structured answer with citations. I also controlled the “effort” level — from lighter exploration to deeper analysis.
It also expanded the question and in some cases it pulled in angles I probably would have discovered eventually but only after opening a lot of tabs.

Here’s the process I usually follow when exploring new APIs:

1. Start with a messy question.
Not something factual you could look up. 

2. Run the same question multiple times.
Change the depth or parameters and see how the system explores the space differently.

3. Ignore the summary at first & look at the sources.
The interesting signal is often in the references it pulls together.

4. Ask if this could this become part of my workflow.
That’s where things get interesting. Search itself is slowly evolving from retrieval toward reasoning infrastructure — systems that help synthesize information rather than just point to it.
