3 things I wish I could say to me when I was at university doing my Msc in CS & media technology:

1. If you like non-profits, you'll LOVE entrepreneurship. Join KTH Innovation even without a startup idea.
2. CSN is the best funding you can get (insight stolen from Tobias Bengtsdahl)
3. You're there to learn, not to show what you already know (don't get stuck doing what you're good at)

The latter, I believe, is why a lot of women end up in non-technical roles despite graduating from CS educations. 

In a lot of projects, we divided tasks to enable us to move fast. Problem was: that never made me comfortable with writing code, and especially not backend stuff. I just became EVEN better at project management and ... centering divs... instead.

And as we know, women tend to be raised to "caretake". I.e, I realised we had fallen into stereotypical habits.

It took me 3 years post-graduation to realize that.

After 3 years of low technical self-confidence, I'm now trying to get back on the horse.

I'll never get those years back, believing that I am not smart enough, but... I do have today.

So: back to writing API endpoints. Thank you for coming to my TED talk <3
