Early in my career, I made the same mistake 
with every piece of feedback.

It's not that I disagreed with what they said.

I just wanted to explain myself.
Provide context.
Share the circumstances.

I didn't want them to think I was incapable.

But here's what they heard:

Excuses.

And over time, people stopped telling me the truth.

Here's what I wish I understood sooner:

A young sparrow dreamed of soaring above the clouds like the eagles.
But no matter how hard he flapped, he stayed close to the ground.

One day, he noticed a group of birds flying together in a perfect V‑formation.
Curious, he asked the lead goose,

"How do you all fly so high and so far?"
The goose smiled and said,
"Alone, we get tired. Together, the lift we create for each other carries us farther than we ever could alone."

🛠️ The Carpenter and the Broken Chair 🤝🌟

A young carpenter opened his small shop in a busy town.
Every day, many people passed by,
but no one stopped to give him work.

One morning, he noticed an old chair left outside a nearby house.
Its leg was broken, the paint was peeling, and it looked ready for the trash.
Instead of ignoring it, the carpenter picked it up, fixed the leg,
polished the wood, and placed it back in front of the house.

A few hours later, the homeowner came out and was surprised.
He asked around and learned the carpenter had repaired it—without charging anything.

The next day, the homeowner visited the shop.

In a vast savannah, a young elephant got separated from his herd.
The sun was harsh, the path unclear, and every direction felt uncertain.

until he met a wise old eagle sitting atop a mound.
The elephant asked,

The eagle nodded and pointed toward a distant river.

Following the eagle’s direction,
the elephant met a group of zebras,
who guided him to some buffalos,
who finally led him back to his herd.

None of them solved the entire problem.
But each connection moved him one step closer.

🎨 The Painter Who Never Showed His Work 🤝✨

Arjun loved painting.
He painted during weekends, after work, and sometimes late at night.

A friendly street dog was searching for food and a safe place to rest.
He tried entering the first house he saw, but the owner gently pushed him away.

He walked to the next house.

A little tired and confused, the dog thought:

In an ancient forest, a young fox was searching for shelter.

Job Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s Degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience is required. 

✅ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations or maintenance supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.

A young parrot wanted to become a great flyer.

"Can you teach me how to fly high?"

The owl shook his head gently.
"I can't teach you that," he said.

The parrot was confused.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
The owl replied,
"Instead of asking someone to do the work for you,
ask what you need to do to become better."

The parrot thought for a moment and asked again,
"Okay… what skills should I improve to fly higher?"

The owl smiled.
"Strength, balance, and patience.
Start practicing short flights, build your stamina,
and watch how other birds glide with the wind."

The parrot practiced for weeks.
And slowly… he began flying higher than ever.
