The National Algae Association, a non-profit 501(c)6 is the first non-profit algae association in the US and the world for commercially minded algae researchers/producers as well as algae bloom/HAB remediation technology companies.

NAA educates students, algaepreneurs, private industry and investment community in all aspects of commercial algae production of nutraceuticals Omega 3 EPA/DHA - astaxanthin, cosmetics, food, feeds, pigments, biofertilizer, bioplastics as well as algae bloom/HAB remediation technologies used on waterways and waterbodies. 

NAA facilitates Monthly Algae Industry Webinars, Algae Production Certification and Algae Production Incubator Program in collaboration with academia. We also facilitate the Algae Biomass Exchange for qualified algae producers and potential off-takers on Linkedin.

NAA also facilitates Monthly Nutrient Runoff Capture, Recycling, Repurposing and Harmful Algae Bloom Remediation Technology Webinars taking a source to bloom approach to fix these devastating water quality problems. 

We facilitate the Algae Biomass Exchange - a meeting place for qualified commercial algae producers and potential off-takers/customers with specific requirements and needs.  We assist in helping to build algae biomass/seaweed markets and supply channels in the US and throughout the world.
