The real truth about "going to HR" with a complaint:

Employees are always running to HR with things.

It is like they don't understand who is paying HR.

I am.

I am the source of my HR employee's family income.

Go ahead and tell HR on me. See how that works out for you. I am paying for their kids dance lessons, hockey team, health insurance and food.

HRs job is to protect their income by protecting me.

I am only posting this now because I no longer have to deal with lazy entitled employees and sniveling  CYA HR people.

I hope everyone enjoys this little dose of reality today.

A buddy of mine who happens to be a university professor in economics just posted this important announcement on a different social media platform.

I feel it is imperative that I inform others about this crucial issue:

"Poisonous or venomous snakes, even if cooked, pose serious health risks if not handled and prepared by trained professionals. While certain cultures do consume poisonous snakes this requires extensive knowledge of killing cleaning and cooking thoroughly to neutralize toxins and eliminate bacteria.

For a casual event, attempting this would be extremely dangerous and would be inappropriate in a social context."
