1. The “Need” Trigger
Call out the pain your audience deeply feels. People buy when they feel understood, not motivated.

Your clients want fat loss but their routine collapses by Thursday. Here’s why.

2. The “Urgency” Trigger
Show what happens if they don’t fix the problem. Future pain > present advice.

Example (Health Coach):
Every month you delay, your metabolism adapts, making fat loss harder.

3. The “Belief” Trigger
Stories that make them think: Damn… this person gets me. Emotion converts faster than logic.

Example (Health Coach):
The moment my client admitted she was ‘tired of starting over’, everything changed.

Other two triggers you commonly notice:
4. The “Authority” Trigger
Proof > claims. Authority is the new trust.

5. The “Clarity” Trigger
Give a simple, visual solution. If people can see the system, they trust the system.

If your content isn’t triggering these, you’ll keep getting:

I attended a perfume workshop last week.

My parents told me it was “useless.”
Doesn’t help my career or add to my skills that helps.
But I went anyway because I just lovee perfumes.

Funny thing?
I almost didn’t go.
It was far…..I told myself I’d attend “next time.” As always!

Until I saw a message: “Last workshop in Nagpur.”
It was even farther. Yet, I went.

And it hit me on the ride back:
We don’t skip things because they’re far. We skip them because they’re not a priority.

Well, I blame the wedding week.
Music… mehndi… relatives…My brain was working on 2% battery and 98% food and fun.

So today I finally sat to post.. Scrolled through all my “saved drafts”…
And immediately went:
“Nope. Nope. Ew. Who wrote this? Definitely not me.”

So here we are.
This post is 5 minutes old.
Powered by 1 hour of sleep and caffeine.

And honestly… this is exactly how sometimes founders operate.

Some days I’m a “10-idea Kanika.”
Energetic, unstoppable, planning my TED Talk.

Some days I’m “barely functioning Kanika.”
Thinking, “If I reply to 3 messages today… I deserve a national award.”

And for the longest time, I felt guilty about this inconsistency.

But after working with so many founders, I’ve realized something:
Nobody is consistent.
We’re all just riding waves.... some tall, some tiny.

The win isn’t doing everything.
The win is: not stopping… even when you’re moving slow.

Because trust me, I reached back home 10 mins back and it was tough choosing sleep and posting. 

How was your week?

And the 2025 F1 season ends.
And I feel, founders and drivers aren’t that different.

Both spend the whole year at full throttle.
Both obsess over milliseconds.
Both pretend they’re fine… until the crash comes.

A few months ago, I remember there was a race where..
A driver pitted early, not because anything was “wrong,” but because the engineer spotted small signs the data didn’t like.

Nothing dramatic… but enough to say:
“If we adjust now, we avoid bigger problems later.”

And I realised:
Founders don’t get this luxury.

We don’t get that voice in our ear saying,
“Box now. Reset. Breathe. You’ll go faster after.”

So we keep driving on worn-out tyres…until something forces us to stop.

This week, ask yourself:
Are you driving like a pro or like someone hoping the wheels don’t fall off?

Last week a founder asked me:
“Why isn’t my content working?”

So I looked.

Beautiful templates. Motivational lines.
Even a few ‘Monday mindset’ posts.

But here’s the problem:
None of it sounded like her.

If I removed her name, I could’ve sworn it came from five different people.

So I gave her the only structure that actually works:
