It is easy to get caught up in tasks, but people want leaders who slow down, listen to concerns and take actions that address those concerns.

The question of whether we should push our employees or pull our employees can be a tough one.

Have high standards. If you lead correctly, your employees will want to do their best to match or exceed those standards.

I have invested my entire professional life to help people understand and communicate better by creating all kinds of content. I have worked as marketer, advertising salesperson, specialized journalist, editor, publisher, spokesperson, public relations director, communications director, lobbyist and entrepreneurs in sectors as diverse as industry, services telecoms, IT, NGOs, SMEs and startups.

This mission became clearer to me after a professional crisis that forced me to re-examine my professional role in society and the choice of my work tools.

My problem: I had become obsolete and too expensive for my employer who no longer met my expectations.
