I am the head of ENSafrica's award winning Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) law unit, co-head of the Fintech law unit and co-head of the data privacy practise. I am the current “Lawyer of the Year” for IT Law. 

For the past 9 years I have been a member of the United Nations Data Governance and AI Expert Group (previously the UN Global Pulse Privacy Advisory Group), and I am the current Chair of the Substantive Law Committee on Technology Sourcing of the International Technology Lawyers Association (previously Vice-Chair).  I am Chair of Privacy Officers Africa.

I am a globally recognised, award winning lawyer in IT and Telecommunications law, data privacy law, corporate law, data commercialisation, and fintech.

I am a noted thought leader and public speaker, and I have facilitated, participated, led and / or presented at thought leadership and other events in TMT and data privacy laws globally, including at the United Nations HQ in New York, The Hague, Geneva, Accra, Bangalore and across South Africa.
