But you are just wasting your time.

You need to add your insights. Share content related to your niche.

She shared what's actually going to work on LinkedIn in 2026.

Here's what stuck with me:

Video is no longer optional.
Over 70% of B2B buyers are now millennials or Gen Z. They consume video all day, every day.
Video consumption on LinkedIn is growing double digits every quarter.

If you're not using video, you're invisible to most of your potential clients.

But make it short, engaging, with a strong hook and a clear call to action.
Authenticity beats selling every time.

Jessica said something powerful: "People smell things that are inauthentic."
Stop sounding like a business robot. Speak like a human.

The content that works connects with people both intellectually and emotionally.

Your headline matters more than you think.
If it just says "Finance Manager," you're not discoverable.
Be specific. Be interesting. Show what makes you unique.

Engagement is the real algorithm.

These weren't words from strangers on the internet.

These were words from people I loved. My close ones. 2 years ago.

When I decided to start my service business.

Everyone has an opinion. Everyone has advice.

But none of them are the ones taking the risk.

Deep down, I knew, If I failed, nobody was going to lift me back up. It would just be me. Alone with my decision.

But I also knew: If I succeeded, it would be because I believed in myself when nobody else did.
So I took the chance.

I showed up. Every single day. For 2 years.

Some days felt impossible. Some days I questioned everything.

But I kept going.

And now,
The same people who doubted me now ask me how I did it.
The same people who said "stop wasting your time" now say "I'm proud of you."

The hate turned into curiosity. The criticism turned into respect.

Not because I proved them wrong. But because I proved myself right.

Here's the truth about starting something new:

Most people post on LinkedIn and hope for the best.

I used to do that too.

Then I realized something: LinkedIn rewards consistency, not luck.

So I built a simple daily routine. Nothing fancy. Just 15 minutes a day.
And it changed everything.

Here's exactly what I do every single day:

Morning (Before I post anything)
First thing I do? I don't post my content.

I go through my feed. I find posts from people in my network. I leave real comments on 4-5 posts.

Not "Great post!" or "Thanks for sharing."

Real comments. Thoughtful ones. Like I'm actually talking to them.

This does two things: It warms up the algorithm. And it reminds people I exist.

Think of it like saying hello before you start talking about yourself.

When I post (Around 9 AM)
I wrote my content the night before. That way, I'm not stressing about what to post in the morning.

I post it between 8:55 and 9:05 AM. That's when my audience is most active.
I don't overthink it. I don't wait for it to be perfect.

Done is better than perfect. Always.

Right after I post
I stay online for the first 30 minutes.

People start commenting. I reply to every single one. Fast.

This tells LinkedIn: "Hey, people like this post. Show it to more people."
I don't just say "Thanks!" I actually have conversations. I ask questions. I keep the engagement going.

Later in the day
If I have 5 minutes, I go back and leave a few more comments on other people's posts.

I check what's working. Which posts got the most engagement? What did people connect with?

I write down 1-2 ideas for future content.

At night (Before bed)
I scroll through LinkedIn for 10 minutes. I save the posts that teach me something. The ones that make me think.

My brain works on these ideas while I sleep. By morning, I have new content ideas ready.

That's it. That's the whole system.
15 minutes a day. Consistent. Simple. Effective.

This isn't about going viral. It's about showing up so consistently that people can't ignore you.

It's about building real connections, not just chasing likes.
And it works. Every single day.

I posted a sarcastic joke last week.
To make people laugh. 
Maybe start a real conversation.

Instead, I got 30+ generic comments.

"Great insight!" "Thanks for sharing!" "Very helpful post!"

On a joke. A literal joke.

Nobody laughed. Nobody got it. 
They just... copy-pasted.

And it's getting worse every day.

Last week, I posted about Diwali and Chhath Puja.

Personal posts. About festivals that matter to me.

You know what I got?

"Amazing content, keep it up!" "Very informative!" "Thanks for the value!"

Very few said "Happy Diwali." OR "Happy Chhath Puja."

Because people aren't reading. They're just commenting.

Here's what's happening on LinkedIn right now:
People are so focused on "engagement" that 
they've forgotten what engagement actually means.

It's not about leaving 50 comments a day using AI-generated responses.

It's about actually reading what someone wrote. Understanding it. Responding like a human.

But instead, we're all in such a hurry to "show up" that we're not actually showing up at all.

We're just checking boxes. Copying. Pasting. Moving on.

And if you're doing this, let me be honest with you: You're not building a personal brand. You're building noise.

People can tell when you didn't read their post. They can feel when your comment is generic. 

They know when you're just going through the motions.

And that doesn't build trust. It doesn't create connections. It doesn't grow your business.

Here's what actually works:
Spend an hour a day. Not on leaving 50 meaningless comments. 

But on reading 10 posts properly. 

Leaving thoughtful responses. Starting real conversations.

Go to people's DMs. Tell them what you genuinely liked about their post. 

Ask them a question. Be a real person.

Because LinkedIn isn't a checklist. It's a place for people to connect with people.

And if you're too busy to be human, you're too busy to build anything real.

I've been stuck at 8,798 followers for the past 3 months.

I gain about 60 new followers every week.

But my follower count stays the same. (Why?)

LinkedIn keeps removing profiles from my account.

This has been happening for the past 11 months now.

Most of the profiles being removed are inactive accounts. People who aren't even using LinkedIn anymore.

Part of me thinks it's actually good. I'd rather have engaged followers than ghost accounts.
But honestly, It's frustrating.

At the start of this year, I set a goal to hit 9,000 followers.

I'm still not there.

But then I realized something:
Follower count doesn't matter if you're not actually connecting with people.

What's the point of 10,000 followers if none of them know who you really are?

What's the point of a big audience if you never have real conversations?

So I'm trying something different this month.

I want to have networking calls with 2 of my connections.

Not to pitch anything. Not to sell anything.


Just to talk. Get to know each other. Share what we're working on.

Most people think you need some secret strategy or viral hack to grow on LinkedIn.
You don't.

You just need a solid foundation and a simple daily routine.

Here's exactly what works:

Fix your profile first
Before you post anything, make sure your profile actually converts visitors into followers or clients.

Your headline should tell people exactly what you do and who you help. Keep it under 45 characters so it shows fully on mobile.

Your profile photo should be professional. Show your face clearly. Smile. Use a simple background.

Your About section should tell your story, not list your achievements. Start with the problem you solve, share your journey, then explain how you help.

Add a Featured section. Put your best content, your lead magnet, or your service page there.
Your banner should have a clear message and a call to action. Don't leave it blank.

Your daily routine (60 minutes total)
Before you post (15 minutes): Don't post first thing in the morning. Engage first. Find 5-7 posts from people in your niche. Leave real, thoughtful comments. This warms up the algorithm and reminds people you exist.

Create your content (15 minutes): Write your post. Start with a strong hook. Provide real value in the middle. End with a clear call to action. Match your content to where people are in their journey with you.

After you post (15 minutes): Stay online. Reply to every comment quickly. Have real conversations. Don't just say "thanks." Ask questions. Keep the engagement going.

Build relationships (10 minutes): Go through your DMs. Reply to messages. Start 1-2 new conversations with people who've been engaging with your content.

Grow your network (5 minutes): Send 5-7 connection requests. Not random ones. Targeted ones. People who would actually benefit from your content.

What to post
70% of your content should be for people who don't know you yet. Share stories, struggles, lessons learned.

20% should show your expertise. Share frameworks, strategies, how you work.
10% should invite people to work with you. Client wins, testimonials, clear offers.

Tools that help
I use Notion to plan my content. Claude to help me organize my thoughts (not write for me). Canva or Ideogram for simple graphics. CapCut for editing videos.

I don't use every tool out there. Just the ones that save me time without making my content feel robotic.

Learn from people doing it well
Follow creators who are vulnerable and real. The ones who share their actual journey, not just their wins. The ones who write like humans, not like AI.

Study what they do. Not to copy them. But to understand why their content connects.

Most people quit after two weeks because they don't see results.

But the people who stick with it? They build something real.


Stop looking for shortcuts. Start building foundations.

I gave myself a challenge last week.

Add new comments, not more comments.

If you want to increase your visibility, then you need to comment on new profiles.

Profiles who are from different regions.
Profiles who have just started.
Profiles who have very few comments.

This will help you get their attention and their comments on your posts.

My strategy is simple:
I add 10 new profiles every week to my engagement sheet.

I comment on them for a week or two and then see their activity.

If they comment or appreciate my comments, I keep them and remove the rest.

This helps me reach out to 40 new profiles in a month.

From which 15-20 profiles comment back or connect with you.

This helps you with engagement, impressions, and connections.

Try this strategy in December and you will have new connections by New Year.

I only spend 30 minutes on the LinkedIn app.

And manage 7 LinkedIn profiles including mine.

In 30 minutes, 5 minutes are dedicated to LinkedIn games (puzzle games).

10 minutes are dedicated to replying to new and old messages.

15 minutes are dedicated to checking and reading the content on my feed.

Now you may think, how am I managing the other 6 profiles?

So I use LinkedIn on my web browser using my laptop.

On the web, I spend around 4 hours every day to use and manage other LinkedIn profiles.

On the web, you can open multiple profiles at the same time without logging in and logging out.

My first line above is true, but it's just a small part of what I meant.

My motive was to show you how you get manipulated using clickbait hooks or hooks that just tell half the story, just to attract your attention.

So before you decide or assume the statement to be true, you must read the complete content and then decide.

Words play a very important role in your decision-making and the choices you make, which have consequences in your day-to-day life.

You don't need growth hacks to win on LinkedIn.

I spent 90 days testing what actually works.

Here's what made the difference:
- Post content that solves one specific problem
- Don't try to help everyone with everything.

Pick one problem. Solve it clearly. Speak directly to the person who has that problem.

Use the exact words they use. Talk like you're helping a friend, not writing a blog post.

Example: Instead of "Improve your communication skills," say "Stop losing deals because your body language screams insecurity."

See the difference, One is vague. The other speaks to a real pain point.
Post 3 times a week. No more. No less. Consistency beats volume.

Show your work, not just your wins

Here's the mix that works:
80% of your content should be practical. Step-by-step guides. Screenshots. 

Real examples.
20% should be your story. How you learned it. What mistakes you made.
The 80% builds trust. The 20% makes people care.

Don't just tell people what to do. Show them how you're doing it.

Video is still your secret weapon
I know. Video reach on LinkedIn feels lower right now.

But here's the thing: video still builds trust faster than anything else
.
We did a LinkedIn Live with 200 people recently. Made $10,000 from it.

Why, Because people buy from people they trust. Video speeds up that trust.

You don't need to do video every day. Twice a month is enough.
Just show up. Be real. Share what you know.

The real strategy, Focus.
Everyone's chasing viral posts. Trying every new tactic. Posting 10 times a day.

That's not how you build a brand.
You build a brand by being consistent with one clear message.

Pick your one thing. The problem you solve. The people you help.
Then show up for them. Every week. With real value.

The rest will follow.

Get replies to your cold emails using LinkedIn.

This is by far the easiest way to get responses.

I won't say: "You must be an expert copywriter to get Leads"
I won't say: "You must send 1000 emails to get replies"

This is the typical way of sending cold emails.

But when you integrate or take help of LinkedIn, the process changes completely and becomes more efficient.

Here's the process:

1) Scrape profiles of your target audience on LinkedIn.

2) Make sure your target audience is active on LinkedIn or has posted some content recently.

3) Now collect their emails from the Contact Info section on their profile.

4) Once you have the email list ready, send an email mentioning their latest post, then introduce what you do and how you can solve their problems, and add a CTA at the end.

I have recently seen this trend which is very effective since most of our target audience is bombarded with DMs on LinkedIn, and very few go the extra mile and send them an email.

I receive one such email every day, and trust me, it feels so good when someone has really done some research about me before reaching out.

3x more impressions than my usual posts, Why did it work?

Because it talks about 1 core topic and a Clear CTA. 

Here's the lesson:
Every time you post on LinkedIn, ask yourself:

Am I solving a real problem?
Is my message clear and focused?
Does my CTA make sense?

If the answer is no to any of these, rewrite it.
We live in an attention economy. If you can hold someone's attention for more than 10 seconds (which is really hard), you win.

But you can't do that if your message is confusing or trying to help everyone.
Focus. Simplify. Solve one problem at a time.

You can't grow on LinkedIn or get new opportunities on LinkedIn by simply posting content. You need to have a good system and strategy.

System involves all the doc files, sheets, and list of topics which have worked previously.

Strategy involves experimentation with your content, engagement, and outreach based on analytics (data).

Once you set up both and stay consistent for at least 90 days, you can get your next big opportunity in 2026.

This can include:
A good network of like-minded people.
Good business opportunities that can scale your business.
Quality, skilled people for your business.

So if you are randomly posting content, take a pause. First focus on building a good system and strategy, then restart.

I spent this week reading The Almanack of Naval Ravikant.

These six lessons hit different:

1. Wealth is about owning things that earn while you sleep
→ Trading time for money has a ceiling 
→ Building assets that work without you doesn't
What this means: Stop trading hours. Start building systems.

One thing to try: Identify one skill you can turn into a product or service that doesn't need your constant time.

2. Happiness is a skill you practice, not a goal you chase
→ Chasing happiness makes it run away 
→ Choosing to be present brings it closer
What this means: Stop waiting to be happy when you achieve something. Be happy now.

One thing to try: When you catch yourself saying "I'll be happy when...", pause and find one thing to appreciate right now.

→ Reading what excites you builds the habit naturally

What this means: Stop reading what you "should" read. Read what genuinely interests you.
One thing to try: Drop that book you've been forcing yourself to finish. Pick up something you're actually curious about.

4. Your real resume is just a list of the people who trust you
→ Credentials get you noticed 
→ Trust gets you opportunities

What this means: Focus less on titles, more on relationships.
One thing to try: Reach out to one person this week just to help them with something. No ask. Just value.

5. Specific knowledge can't be taught, but it can be learned
→ What you uniquely know through experience is your edge 
→ What everyone can learn from a course isn't

What this means: Your weird combination of interests and experiences is your advantage. Not what you learned in school.

One thing to try: Write down three things you know that most people in your field don't. That's your specific knowledge.

6. Play long-term games with long-term people
→ Short-term thinking attracts short-term results 
→ Compound relationships create compound success

What this means: Stop chasing quick wins with random people. Build with people you trust over years.

One thing to try: Think of one relationship you want to invest in for the next 5+ years. Message them today.

Now I have also started playing Mini Sudoku, which is also very addictive.

The best part is you get the leaderboard after you complete the game.

You can see your connections playing the game and their ranking according to how quickly they solved it.

As humans, we also tend to want to win or be at the top.

This makes us work hard or try to be more efficient to feel superior.

This emotion is perfectly tapped by LinkedIn.

And it helps LinkedIn make its users stay on their app or visit the app every day.

It's overall a great strategy for LinkedIn.
