Taking accountability shouldn't sound like an apology.
But sometimes we confuse the two.

A small sentence can make or break our start.

Opening with "I'm sorry we missed the target" can shift the audience from confidence to uncertainty.

Most people walk into difficult conversations with a script.

The difference? 
One prepares what to say.
The other prepares who to be.

When I failed at difficult conversations, it wasn't because I wasn't prepared. It was because I had prepared myself poorly.

I was focusing on what I thought I should say instead of trying to understand the other person. 

Here's the 5-minute pre-conversation ritual that works.

↳ Stop asking "What do I need to say?"
↳ Start asking "What does this person care about most?"
👉 Write down their top 3 priorities before you write your own

↳ Not just your goal, their goal too
👉 "If this goes well, what changes for them?"

3️⃣ The Emotional Pre-Flight (90 seconds)
↳ Name what you're feeling (anxiety, frustration, defensiveness)

👉 Three deep breaths to reset your nervous system

4️⃣ The Assumption Check (60 seconds)
↳ List your assumptions about their position

Pero después respiré y recordé algo esencial:

👉 No escribí este libro para ser perfecto.
Lo escribí para ser útil.

-Para quien quiere hacer marketing desde el corazón, sin perder los resultados.

- Para quien siente que esta industria necesita un reset.

- Para quien busca otro camino, más humano, más consciente, más valiente.

Y verlo ahí, tan visible en la librería, me recordó mi propio propósito:

✨ Ayudar a que más personas se atrevan a hacer las cosas diferentes.

A impactar vidas.
A construir un nuevo marketing, más humano y más real.

Hoy celebro eso.

No el “logro”, sino lo que representa.

La posibilidad de que mis ideas lleguen a alguien que quizá las necesita justo ahora.

¡Habrá firma de mi libro Human-Centric Marketing" en el congreso Merca2.0, el congreso más importante de Marketing en México!

En la foto, estoy con uno de los más grandes (sino el más grande) de los expertos en marketing en México: Alvaro Rattinger. 

Para los que no saben (ya no se hagan y vayan a buscar su ejemplar), el escribió el prólogo del libro 😱

¡Y la noticia de hoy es que me invitaron al congreso con una mesa para firmas de libros!

Nos vemos entonces el 19 y 20 de noviembre en Expo Santa Fe para que puedan obtener su edición de mi nuevo libro 📖 

P.S Además tendré unas soprresas para los que me visitan. Así que si no les emociona el libro espero que eso si 🤗

Ir a la oficina para hacer videollamadas. 🤨
Sí, suena absurdo...

Pero también tiene mucho sentido.

Nos dijeron que el futuro del trabajo era remoto, flexible, digital.

Y claro, lo es.

Pero hay algo que ni el mejor Wi-Fi del mundo puede reemplazar: la conexión humana.

A veces voy a la oficina sin una sola reunión presencial…
y aun así, regreso con la energía recargada.

Porque saludar, reír, cruzar ideas en el pasillo o tomar un café con alguien
también es trabajo.

Es liderazgo, cultura y empatía en acción.

Eso es el Human-Centric Leadership que tanto me gusta.

El horario flexible no se trata de dónde trabajas, sino de cómo conectas.

De elegir conscientemente cuándo necesitas concentración y cuándo necesitas conexión.

Yo sigo creyendo en los espacios donde las ideas respiran, 
los equipos se encuentran
y la gente vuelve a sentirse parte de algo más grande.

☕️ A veces eso pasa frente a una pantalla.
Otras, frente a una sonrisa.

Un espacio para dar visibilidad a quienes están buscando trabajo, porque todos hemos estado ahí alguna vez…

Y una sola conexión puede cambiar una vida

Porque ser líder no se trata de ti.
Se trata de los demás.

Parece obvio pero hace falta todavía en nuestro cotidiano.

En mi vida, he aprendido que el liderazgo no se mide por cuánta gente te sigue, sino por cuántas personas ayudas a avanzar.

Y por eso, les propongo esta dinámica.

Porque ser un líder human-centric también significa usar tu voz para que otros sean escuchados.

Como cuando te sigues poniendo la camiseta... 


Sí, ya sé muchos dirán:

"Ay no que feo ponerse ropa con logo de empresa."
"Ya ni estás ahí, ya tira eso."
"¡Hola señor godin!."

Pues no.
A veces sí te la sigues poniendo.
Y eso dice mucho más de una empresa que cualquier campaña de branding.

👉 Hizo mucho frío (y yo que me escape para ya no vivir el frío de Francia...) 
y me puse una chamarra de Johnson & Johnson.

Una que me dieron hace años.

Y me sorprendí a mí mismo pensando:
"Qué loco… sigo sintiéndome orgulloso de usarla."

Ahí entendí algo poderoso:

No es ropa.

Es cultura.
Es pertenencia.
Es marca vivida.

La mayoría no quiere mostrar dónde trabajó.

Pero cuando una empresa te cuidó, te dio propósito, te trató como humano,
no te da pena representarla…
te nace.

Y ahí está la medición más honesta de la cultura organizacional:

➡️ No cuando la gente sube fotos en el onboarding.
➡️ No cuando todos usan la playera obligatoria en el team building.
➡️ Sino cuando la siguen usando años después, sin obligación y sin salario de por medio.

Eso no se compra.
Eso se construye.
Eso se siente. ❤️

Las compañías que logran esto ya entendieron el nuevo juego:
La marca no se imprime en la tela.
Se imprime en el corazón.

Una cultura que se vive…
se viste.
