I think over relying on AI is kind of like using GPS (yes, I still call it that) every time you get into the car.

So often I know where I'm going but plug it into my navigation app just to have it as a sort of security blanket.

It often takes me a way that I don't like (left turns onto traffic etc.) resulting in me being frustrated with it and wondering why I don't just trust myself to figure it out on my own.

Lately it seems that a lot of the AI assistance I'm getting with my work (outlines, filling out forms, drafting emails) is just me feeling reliant on something that will save time but ends up requiring me to proofread, edit, revise and ultimately spend longer on tasks that I could have done myself from the beginning.

It is definitely time for me to reassess when to use AI and how to best plug it into my day.

I'm in the process of building some some agents to help me because the whole copy/paste process of Gemini and Chatgpt is just not working for me....
