My entrepreneurial journey spans over two decades in the franchise space, where I've been instrumental in launching and scaling multiple successful brands. What looks like kindness isn’t always what it seems. 

In this video, a man in a silver SUV buys a net bag of tiny birds from a street vendor dressed in pink on a busy street. He opens the window, releases them gently, and drives away believing he did something good. 

But sometimes, the truth hides behind the moment. 🕊️

In many parts of Southeast Asia and the Middle East, this “bird release” is a common scam. 


The birds are trained to return to the vendors, caught again, and resold endlessly. What feels like compassion actually fuels a cycle of suffering and exploitation. 🌍
