Stillness, Self-awareness & the Power to Transform
My journey into meditation began at 15, when I first encountered Tibetan Buddhism. Since then, I’ve spent 27 years deepening that practice — receiving over 100 hours of teachings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, including co-leading the Open Arms campaign that welcomed him to the UK and closed a central London bridge in celebration.

Today, I guide secular, inclusive meditation spaces — grounded in trauma-informed care, Buddhist psychology, and neuroscience. I help people reconnect with themselves gently and honestly, whether through one-to-one practice, workplace pauses, or multi-day retreats.

In my early thirties, I was diagnosed with cancer while raising a two-year-old. Three years of treatment and its long-term effects deepened my understanding of suffering, stillness, and compassion. This lived experience shapes how I hold space — with empathy, honesty, and a deep trust in people’s resilience.

I trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the NHS and have led trauma-informed sessions and reflective retreat days for young people and staff at Kids Company. I co-facilitate annual retreats at Land of Joy, host a weekly community meditation through The Good Heart, and will soon lead a weekend retreat at Lamrim Buddhist Centre, blending mindfulness, nature, and imagination.

My work lives at the intersection of wellbeing and justice — supporting people to reflect, restore, and reclaim their power. I believe wellbeing isn’t a luxury — it’s a birthright and a radical act of care.

Common Purpose, founded by Julia Middleton, has a 35-year history of offering cross-boundary leadership programmes globally. As Global Speaker Outreach Manager, I manage and expand Common Purpose’s social capital network.
•	Introduced new processes for onboarding speakers and visiting hosts.
•	Shaped a culture of gratitude, authenticity, and care around our social capital.
•	Increased new speaker engagement from 20% to 50% over two years through innovation and team culture shifts.
