I help women leaders and changemakers own their voice and build personal brands rooted in identity, clarity and purpose.

Much of my work supports women who are capable, experienced and mission-driven, but feel overlooked, unseen or unsure how to communicate the value of what they carry. They know they are called to more, but don’t want to lose themselves trying to be visible.

My approach to personal branding is identity-led. Not trend-driven. Not performative.

When identity is clear, confidence steadies. Messaging sharpens. Presence strengthens. Visibility becomes intentional rather than exhausting.

Alongside my work as a personal brand strategist, I am a keynote speaker, facilitator and MC, working with organisations, networks and events to support leaders and teams around voice, identity, presence and purpose-led leadership. My sessions are grounded, practical and reflective, helping people communicate with clarity and confidence rather than performance.

I am also a broadcaster, author and the founder of Heartsong Live Radio, a values-led radio station I built from the ground up and grew onto mainstream DAB. Creating platforms where voices are heard, valued and elevated is not just what I teach. It is what I live.

As the first African woman to start a radio station in Scotland, my career has been shaped by navigating leadership, visibility and identity in spaces where women are often expected to shrink. That lived experience informs how I support others.

My work sits at the intersection of purpose, mission and profit. I believe meaningful work deserves to be resourced, and women should not have to choose between impact and sustainability.

I have literally just got home from speaking at Glasgow Caledonian University for the Future Leader Experience, in the Small Group Conversations with Common Purpose. 

It was genuinely lovely connecting with so many future leaders, hearing their ideas, and having real conversations that were honest and hopeful.

I shared my leadership journey and kept it simple.

Leadership is not a title. It is influence. It is choosing to take responsibility for what you can see, even before you feel ready.

I took them back to where it all started me. Always love sharing my story. From organising concerts, to pulling people together and creating space. 

I quickly learned that people didnt just want an event. They wanted a place where they feelt seen, heard and their voice mattered which led to creating platforms such as Heartsong Live Radio and Adelphe Connect. 

I also shared a framework that I live by. As a leader, you are an I.C.O.N.

I. Identity: Know who you are, who you’re called to, what you stand for, your message and the solution that you bring.

C. Clarity: Clarity does not always come from thinking. It comes from taking action. Take the next step, and you learn what works, what not to do or what to do more of. Most leaders do not have it all figured out. They learn on the job. 

O. Opportunities: Say yes to opportunities. I love this Richard Branson line “If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you are not sure you can do it, say yes, then learn how to do it later.”

N. Narrative: Your story matters. Not the polished version. The honest one. Your journey can give someone else permission to start, and to keep going.

These are some lessons I have learnt along the long way and still learning. Especially the part about staying consistent with the vision when it is quiet, messy, or slower than you planned.

Leadership is nurturing your vision. Nobody gives birth to a baby and abandons them. You carry it, protect it, feed it, and stay with it until it can stand.

Today I realised I have been expecting myself to be superwoman again. 😉😜☺️

You know when you wake up tired, already behind, and you still have to “turn on the lights” for everyone else. 

You still have to show up, lead, respond, plan, decide, and carry the energy. That has been me lately.

Because behind the scenes, some really exciting things are happening with Adelphe Connect. We are building, tightening, and putting things in place that will make the work stronger and more sustainable.

And it matters to me because Adelphe is not just a project. It is people. It is women who need support that feels safe and practical. It is a vision I cannot shake.

But some days, I do not “have it”. Some days I am tired of being the one who keeps it moving. Some days I want to pause everything, but life does not pause. Then I catch myself feeling guilty for being human.

So I am practising something new. I am being kinder to myself in real time, in the middle of the juggle. And with that kindness, I am giving myself permission to go slow and do it properly.

I have seen the “2016 is the new 2026” trend going around on instagram. I do not usually join trends, but this one I wanted to join 😉 and for good reasons. 

Because 2016 was a turning point for me.

In 2014, I released my first album, Arise. It was gentle. It was honest.

But by 2016, something had shifted. I was tired of being put in a box. Tired of shrinking. Tired of second-guessing what I already knew was in me.

So I titled my second album “Unrestrained”. Oh the backlash I got for the title and my album cover. The album was released at Engage 2016, our flagship worship event. 

That year, the mandate was to organise a mass choir too which saw people from different denominations come together to be a part of the choir, I still remember the moments leading up to the event and the atmosphere in the room on the day. That moment when my album was released felt like more than a music release. It felt like permission.

Around that same season, I was also studying a Master’s in Digital Marketing at RGU. I started in 2015, but 2016 was when it really stretched me. I was finding language for what I was building, and courage for what I was becoming.

I am grateful for the journey so far and everything it has come with. The wins, the lessons, the growing pains, the people, the open doors, and the closed doors that saved me.

Three lessons I have learnt on this journey  
	👉Your next level usually starts with one brave decision. Not a perfect plan. A decision.
	👉Confidence grows by movement. Clarity comes when you act, not when you wait.
	👉Being yourself costs you some approval, and it gives you your life back.

There’s a quote people often attribute to Martin Luther King Jr: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” The wording is widely shared, but the original source is debated, and that is fine because the message still stands.

♥Today is a national day of mourning in Switzerland.🇨🇭
Forty young lives were lost in a fire in a bar in Crans-Montana.
We live in one of the safest countries in the world.
 Most of us assume that strong safety rules are always in place, that systems protect us, that things like this cannot happen here.
Not to us. 

It seems that assumption was wrong.

Yesterday was also a day of mourning connected to my other home country, Iran.

A passenger flight with 176 people on board was shot down by the Iranian regime. 
At this very moment I am posting this, people in Iran are in the street protesting this government they don’t want anymore. 

My heart goes to everyone, all the parents and families grieving the loss of their loved ones in these events. 

And to give you more background about why I am sharing this although I never post about topics outside my topic of leadership development, supply chain management or business: 


I hold two nationalities.
 One from one of the most democratic and organised countries in the world.
 One from one of the least democratic and most unpredictable.

The contrast could not be greater.

Today also happens to be my birthday : sandwiched between these two sad days.

For many years, I disliked birthdays. 
They reminded me of time passing, of getting older.

 This year I feel lucky and grateful.

Grateful for being alive and healthy.
 For my family and friends.
 For a career I had the privilege to reinvent, design and grow.
A career that enabled me personally help hundreds of individuals transform their careers and businesses.

 I am grateful for clients, partners, and a life that is full in ways I don’t take for granted anymore.

These days are a reminder of something simple and uncomfortable:

Nothing is fully guaranteed in life
 Even when it looks safe.

 Even when we assume it will always be there.
This year, I’m celebrating getting older.
Getting older is a privilege. 

There is no guarantee I could write the same post next year.

And that thought makes me think twice about what I do everyday personally and professionally.

Two master's degrees. MBA from a top Swiss business school.

Six years in the same role. Same department.

The only person in her organization with a master's in her specialized field.

She shared with me how she has been asking for promotion multiple times, She has talked to different managers.

Nothing moved.
She got suspicious: 
“My performance reviews are good: I always achieve my targets” 

after some investigation she was shocked to learn about the invisible bottleneck

Her seemingly “nice” boss!!

The line manager has spent 15 years in the same position. 

Never advocated for her. 
Actively blocked her growth opportunities because in his mind “ she was not leadership material”

His feedback: "She's too soft-spoken. Not pushy enough to lead the projects."

He decided her career ceiling for her.

He decided “credentials don’t matter” 

Or more accurately: he imposed his own career ceiling on her. 

and in his practical mind: “why lose a reliable team member? they are better off in my team”

In that traditional hierarchical corporation a team leader had so much power on their team members’ careers and she was stuck in that system. 

This was her situation when we started working last December.

**Here's what she changed**

She stopped waiting for him to change his mind.

She stopped believing the organization would eventually recognise her potential.

She quit that job and after nearly 20 job interviews and the volatile job market in 2025 she finally found home in a smaller company, in a team she could be herself. 

This has not been easy, but if coaching helps with one thing, that is staying resilient and hopeful in difficult times.  

One year later: she's energized, confident, and massively grown.

Most career transformation I have witnessed did not happen overnight. They take months to fruit.
