1 lesson I learned in Corporate + Entrepreneurship:

Never apologize for being obsessed.

At a young age, this 1 fact changed my life:

Which also means I’ve officially held this job longer than anything else in my entire career...

Three years ago it was literally just me, my laptop, a messy Google Doc of ideas, and the kind of chaotic optimism that only appears when you haven’t quite realised what you’ve signed yourself up for.

I didn’t even have a name at the start.

I just had this feeling that growth could be done properly, that founders deserved clearer thinking, cleaner funnels, sharper creative, and someone who actually cared enough to get in the trenches with them.

The early days were wild.

I was doing strategy calls from my living room floor, building dashboards at midnight, rewriting ad copy from airport lounges, and saying yes to projects because I genuinely loved figuring things out.

And somehow, bit by bit, it grew.

We worked with apps I used to admire from afar.

We rebuilt onboarding flows that doubled conversion.

We fixed tracking setups that were basically ancient ruins.

We ran creative tests that turned into full company strategies.

I’ve had founders message me screenshots at 1am because something finally worked.

Those moments never get old.

And then the team happened.
The most unexpected, magical part of all of this.

People who think deeply, ask better questions, spot patterns in chaos, care about the craft, and make working together feel like an actual joy.

And then the community happened too.

Aperture Sessions started as a tiny idea and somehow became these wholesome, energising gatherings that make me feel like I’ve found my people in every city.

London, Berlin, Istanbul, Vegas: acai bowls, friendship bracelets, stickers, socks, founders chatting like old friends. All of it has been surreal in the best way.

Building Aperture has stretched me, challenged me, surprised me, and taught me what kind of work I want to do for the rest of my life.

Three years in and it still feels like chapter one.

To every founder and team who has trusted us, backed us, argued with us, experimented with us, grown with us, and made more money with us, thank you. None of this happens without you. Every insight, every test, every win has come from people who were brave enough to try things with us. I’m grateful for every single one of you.
