I haven't been consistent on LinkedIn for last 2 years,

So I thought for my first post I’d introduce myself

I’m Ankit a 29 year old - LinkedIn expert, girl dad and runner.

This is my story so far

2017: Finished engineering but didn't knew what to do
2018: Got job at web dev agency and learned a lot
2019-21: Did MBA (In middle of covid-19)
2021: Reached out to Alex Berman® and offered to work for free, he said yes. 
2023: Joined Taplio as employee #2 & stayed till Acquisition

During work at Taplio and afterwards, helped 1000s people with their LinkedIn growth and building personal brands.

Was consistent for year and then lost motivation for a while.

2025: saw post by Frank and reached out to work on Salesforge.ai 🔥
Next month, found out that my wife's pregnant and
In sept, become proud dad of baby girl.

And that's only the half of it!

If I had 30 days to get leads from LinkedIn,

I would ignore most advice on this platform

Not because it’s wrong
Because it’s built for people
who have time to experiment

Most don’t
So I’d simplify everything

1. I’d fix how I’m perceived

If someone lands on your profile
and still isn’t sure what you do
No amount of content will save you

2. I’d stop writing for creators

Likes from other creators feel good
But they don’t turn into pipeline

I’d write about:

what it’s costing people
what they’re getting wrong
what they haven’t realised yet
Not “tips”

Third: I’d remove anything that sounds impressive

The more you try to sound smart
the less people understand you
Clear wins, Every time

4. I’d stop chasing reach

Attention is not the goal
Understanding is

A post that 5 right people understand
beats 50,000 views that go nowhere

And last, I’d actually talk to people

Content creates context
Conversations create clients

Most people skip the second part

LinkedIn is not complicated
But most people make it slow

Most people are struggling with content ideas. 

(if you don’t fix this, it will never go away)

Deep down,

You are struggling with the fear of being seen trying.
I was the same as well, scared to look like I am trying.

You don’t want people to see you before you’re good.
Because posting removes the illusion

No more “I could do this if I tried”
Now it’s visible

People see:

how you think
how you write
how consistent you actually are

And that’s risky

Not failure
Exposure

So you delay

“I’ll start next week”
“I need better ideas”
“I’m not fully clear yet”

But all of it really means
“I don’t want to be seen like this”

Everyone wants visibility
Until it actually makes them visible
