I’ve carried the responsibility of $1B contracts and P&Ls up to $115M, and led major transformation programs impacting more than 6,000 people. Most recently, I ran an AI data company with 1,000+ people across Madagascar and Mauritius.

Accomplishments:
•	Successfully relocated company headquarters from Illinois to Texas in three months as key member of the transition team. 
•	Streamlined A/P & A/R processes by analyzing inherited policy and procedure realigning with the company’s philosophy.  
•	Performed analysis of rail leases resulting in additional revenue of $750K annually.
•	Increased productivity 20% by removing redundant SOX controls no longer necessary or deemed key.
•	Streamlined approval processes on purchases and contracts while tightening internal control where warranted.
•	Successfully implemented accounting software system conversion from Oracle to Microsoft Dynamics GP.

•	Managed month end close through consolidation for corporate and multi-project accounting, including budgets/forecasts, variance analysis, allocations, general ledger, fixed assets, and report writing. 
•	Directed the development, modification, review and implementation of accounting systems, reporting methods and controls, policies and procedures.
•	Managed, coached 4 accountants in accounting theory and procedure in accordance with US GAAP.
•	Presented operating results to management, summarizing revenues, expenses and key statistics compared to budget. 
•	Reviewed finance and legal agreements and ensured accounting treatment of financial schedules, and transactions.
•	Served as company liaison between financial system applications, IT, and field accounting.
•	Managed the implementation of SOX, supported regulatory (SEC) reporting and ensured compliance.

Accomplishments:
•	Successfully directed and implemented the setup of a new accounting system, chart of account, processes, procedures, and training of staff for new public company.
•	Brought organization to the day to day accounting process by re-structuring work flow processes, procedures, and tasks assigned reducing the monthly close process through consolidation from 1 month to 5 business days.
•	Managed accounting system upgrade, resulting in less than ½ a day of production down time.
•	Designed, automated, and implemented a 5-year operating budget/forecast tool resulting in an accurate evaluation of development projects, while streamlining processes, and reducing preparation time.
•	Successfully implemented SOX readiness and compliance within the accounting department.
