My parents still know that I am working for a company, situated at the IT hub of Kolkata, that pays me around 25k a month.


Why don’t they know what I do exactly? Because I didn’t tell them.
And why is that? because they do not care much about what I am doing professionally. No, I am not complaining, but that’s the fact.

If I am preparing myself for 2026 and further, they are still in the B.C era.
And the great thing about it is that I am the most alien and ignorant human in my family.
And ignorance is bliss.

The patriarchy of my house allowed me to study. Along with that, it pushed me to go for the government job, the most stable one. Nothing wrong with that, but it forgot to ask me what I liked to do with my life.

In the early days, I did exactly what the patriarchal mindsets asked me to.
And then I left everything, being the most rebellious one, and started working in an ordinary company in Kolkata with a low salary.

And that was the time, they stopped pushing me because they felt hopeless with my merit, decisions and consoled themselves that it was my bad luck. I became the ignorant one.

But I took it as an opportunity. An opportunity to grow in silence, to grow in private. No one knows what I do. They see me, hurting my back and eyesight with long hours of screen time.

They see me as a poor kid, struggling hard to meet my boss's order. Not much social life, alone in her room with her laptop. 

But little do they know that she is the boss now. She is not struggling but thriving. It's true that she loves to live alone but she has built a tribe online. These people support her, send warmth in DMs and talk for hours when needed. 

Also, I have no complaints about being ignorant because ignorance is an opportunity to grow in private. Silent and effective. 

Ignorance is pure bliss.

Honestly, I have faced it a lot. Done a lot of study and research, watched videos, and did micro courses. Things are frustrating when you write something for hours and get AI-generated comments. I guess it’s so disturbing for a writer to read such comments.

My work allows me to spend 8-10 hours on LinkedIn. 
Different profiles. Different content types and a lot of research on the trends.

Some big creators are still talking about burnout and leadership.

Some creators are following their funnels, while some are copying them blindly.
I have seen and connected with some creators who are actually writing their minds, writing from hearts that made me think.

Some are just pasting from AI with a hope of ‘one day I will have 100 likes’

After analysing all, I have found one pattern that LinkedIn is promoting a lot.
Be original. Be you. Share value.

It’s not about the content format but the quality. It’s about what suits you. How is your audience, and what do they want?

Start experimenting with your content. 
Write a better hook to grab the attention.
Write the value to retain them.
To bring value, do research and analysis.

And most importantly, stop faking because people understand everything.
Authenticity is the new trend.
Walk the talk.
