• Designed end-to-end user onboarding, messaging system, and flows to increase speed, conversion, and retention by 300-500%

• Created unique values assessment tool and matching system to allow people to match to companies based on shared values
• Designed novel SMS onboarding process to 10x user engagement via text messages instead of in-app experiences
• Researched and pivoted company strategy to laser-focus on 3 core industries instead of 30 broader ones, leading to 5x increase in user engagement and successful user experiences

I’m a results-driven, highly-strategic, multidimensional Content Designer, UX Writer, and Digital Experience Strategist with 15+ years of experience. I built the content design system at Indeed that allowed us to quickly scale to become the largest assessments platform in the world (1B+ completed per year, $80M in revenue). 

I’m equally adept at building new experiences and fixing broken ones. I’ve helped build 3 successful startups (Interviewed was acquired by Indeed, Laskie was acquired by X), produced talks, videos, and conferences on technology, education, and voting systems (TEDxNYED, Left Forum, The Center for Election Science), created a top-15 iTunes podcast (Think Again for Big Think), and founded the STEM program at a top prep school in NYC (Collegiate). I've designed sports statistics, betting systems, and voting system algorithms since I was a kid. I've written multiple plays and films and associate-produced Broadway shows.

This was my first experience in recruiting, and it was long enough to make me realize how big of a disruption the staffing industry needed, prompting me to quit to look for answers.

I was working with Investment Sales in NYC when this random agency recruiter reached out, and I thought: 

“Why not? I’m an incurable people-person — this can be fun.”

After ~5 rounds of interviews answering the same questions to different people, and unsuccessfully selling a fictional car, I somehow got the job?

And pretty much since then, I’ve been trying to get out of this industry. 😅

I mean — I actually want US to get out of it. By reinventing it from within.

How did we get here in the first place? 

When did we forget to ask ourselves if all those tests and questions we throw at candidates are predictive of performance?

And how can we hack interviews and find workplaces we’d belong to? Is that even possible?

I am a lifelong learner polymath, and in a constant "movie-theater state": searching for poetry and meaning in every interaction. I can see multiple possibilities when talking to strangers. And I can easily turn them into friends -- as long as they are nice :) 

I've been through quite a bit in life, and having dealt with those situations has made me more love-oriented, mindful of my privileges, and appreciative of human vulnerability and resilience.

I love to spend my time with my partner, our friends and our dogs (3 chihuahuas) and enjoy traveling around Brazil and the world.
