H.D. Management was a small change management consultancy which I founded.  We serviced clients across the UK, the US and Asia.  Our main focus was business processes, ISO 9001, business strategy and planning, key supplier assessments etc.  We predominantly serviced the finance and technology sectors.  Our client list was mostly blue chip, plus a few fast growth SMEs.

On the back of the work we did a number of our clients won European Best Process awards in their respective industries.  One specific example is GAM, a hedge fund of funds which was growing at a phenomenal rate from 2003 to 2006.  We were brought in to develop and implement the investment and operational infrastructure to manage that growth.  The result of that was recognised across the industry with a variety of awards.

Clients included Savoy, Chewton Glen, River Cafe, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Bibendum, Grosvenor House Hotel and many other top eateries.

Talking to celebrity chefs on a daily basis gave me an appreciation for food that has not changed with age!  They would tell me how they were going to cook our shellfish for lunch or dinner and which celebrities/royalty would be eating it.  As someone who struggled to burn toast at the time it was a lot of fun.
