The next step I made was joining a financial advisors team. I took any available next step towards becoming a financial advisor.

I worked with clients in the same capacity as the advisors on the team:

Reviewed portfolios and recommended investments.

Built financial plans and help bring on new clients.

Then made sure that current clients felt that their plans were updated with their lives and that they received the service they needed to keep their lives on track with their goals.

I thought it wouldn't make sense going straight into the role as I had just graduated college 

And I wanted to become the go to person any client could rely on to care for their retirement as well as get them to the point they wished to be.

In this role I was able to work with financial advisors and their clients to trade many different

Stocks, bonds and options to help them grow and protect their portfolios

I learned from the ground up in many aspects of the business.

Since I was working with financial advisors and clients everyday I was able to become part of the training team for new financial advisors and employees in general.

Helped the management team oversee 60+ client associates which in turn provided me an understanding of what it took to run a business with employees

Market trade corrections and fixing margin calls were part of my everyday activities to ensure clients were getting what they expected.

While completing all of these daily I had three straight years of flawless bi-annual audit results and achieved the highest possible annual review rating

SUMMARY: Performed buying, inventory management, logistics management and process improvement for Vans Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories to ensure orders were accurately supported in a timely manner across the US in Retail, Ecom, and Wholesale business segments. 

•	Solely responsible for managing Vans Retail Directs Footwear business segment, supporting 500+ Retail Stores and 50+ Outlet Stores in the US, resulting in 97% On-Time to port in fiscal year 2020 for approximately 2 million units, representing $120 million at Retail

•	Simultaneously managed multiple US Footwear business units, including Vans’ largest business unit, to support US business growth from $2.3 billion in fiscal 2019 to $2.8 billion in 2020, by delivering on average 95%+ on-time to Wholesale Customers in both 2019 and 2020


•	Reduced 549 hours of non-value-added time from Operations’ processes within first year working at Vans using process-improvement methodology, VBA Coding / Macro creation in Excel, and collaboration meetings with counterparts

•	Managed 9 different Sub-Business Units over the course of a 3+ year career with Vans across Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories 

•	Delivered two trainings to Vans employees to help improve public speaking skills, overcome fear of public speaking, and improve habits to increase productivity in the workplace resulting in a 96% average overall score from participant surveys and a 100% score from attendees stating the presentation helped improve their confidence speaking

SUMMARY: Provided internal consulting for one the largest Footwear and Apparel companies in the world, performing process improvement reviews across the Supply Chain in 13 different countries, presenting findings and providing recommendations to improve processes to internal and external senior leaders.

PROJECTS: 
•	Improved out of stock visibility for one of VF’s largest and fastest growing brands by 99.7% during a 2-month special project

•	Identified cost reduction opportunities through analysis of manufacturing, taxes and logistics during a 5-month project in Brazil delivering recommendations providing feasible options to reduce importation costs from the US to Brazil by 8%-39% depending on product category

•	Evaluated the design and operational effectiveness of the following VF Global Supply Chain processes to provide meaningful insights to help ensure VF’s success:

Supply Chain Analyst - Internal Audit

SUMMARY: Managed customer service and buying functions for exporting products from US to all regions around the globe, fulfilling orders supporting 175 different countries. 

•	Selected as the first global team member ever to work with all export regions outside of North America (4 separate regions)
 
•	Reduced ordering time for a club customer by 260 hours per year (8 hours/person for each session to less than 1.5 hours/person)

•	Consolidated LEAN (Continuous Improvement) training class from 8 hours to 2 hours total and presented it to 60 new hires

•	Established an entirely new supply chain to a developing country in Africa 

•	Ran training meetings for affiliates in 15 countries in Latin America entirely in Spanish 

•	Leveraged fluency in Spanish to teach myself Portuguese in 7 months and assisted the Latin American team with translations 

•	Spear-headed initiative to merge Europe and Asia inboxes, improving the team’s overall efficiency and collaboration

•	Took initiative to drive the team forward with continuous improvement projects with no direct team leader for 6 months

•	Wrote and delivered a speech to 600 local students about the importance of language studies and cultural appreciation
