Launch that business, get it wrong, reiterate, get the feedback, churn that customer, drop that ball, live and learn.

Being ready doesn't mean you won't make mistakes.

Being ready means you're deciding that you need to allow yourself to do your best, which means you will make mistakes, and you will learn from those mistakes, and you will keep doing this til the day you die.

We revamped ours, relaunched an entire platform, dropped a Creator Rewind that broke LinkedIn again, and put together Europe's biggest creator awards ceremony (next week at Paris Creator Week).

15 people. 28 days.

It was far from perfect. Our platform launch was rocky, to say the least.

But here's the thing: we're competing against teams 10x our size, with 10x our resources. And we're not just keeping up, we're setting the pace.

Sorry if I'm blunt but whoever says this has zero understanding of what makes influencer marketing work in the first place

plot twist: it's not the content

it's the personality. the storytelling. the human behind the screen.

so it's LITERALLY the opposite: with AI slop flooding every feed, influencers become MORE valuable

because here's what you can't fake: a face people trust. a voice they recognize. a story they've followed for years.

AI can generate 10,000 posts per second

but it can't make someone care

I was going to post all the pictures from my sessions at Paris Creator Week, but I need to talk about the Favikon team first.

We're just a Saas. A small team. And yet, in the span of 2 weeks, they managed to:

- Run a second successful edition of the Favikon Awards
- Throw a great exclusive afterparty at a peniche 
- Handle a rocky V3 product launch
- Ship the Creator Rewind featured that is spreading like wildfire

I'm not going to sugarcoat it: nothing was perfect. We scrambled, we improvised, we had moments of chaos. But that's exactly who we are. Humanity over polish. Authenticity over perfection. We stayed true to what we stand for, even when it got messy.

I've never felt more grateful or lucky to work with this team. They're not just colleagues, they're the reason Favikon exists the way it does.

PS: Huge respect to Jokariz ., Pierre Allary, and Karim Sabba for what they've built with this new edition of Paris Creator Week. It was incredible to witness.

French LinkedIn is losing its mind over a Top Voice with 500 followers.

But here's what everyone's missing about the Top Voice program: 

❌ It was never about you.
❌ It was never a creator program.
❌ It's not a reward for consistency, engagement, or building an audience on the platform. 

It never was.

LinkedIn editors pick people who have influence outside LinkedIn. That's the entire point.

Journalists. CEOs. Authors. Experts in their industry. People who already have a platform elsewhere.

Look at any Top Voice list. You'll rarely find someone who built their reputation solely on LinkedIn. They brought their authority to the platform, not from it.

Is it fair? Debatable.
Does it suck for creators who've spent years building on LinkedIn? Absolutely.

But getting angry at the algorithm or at LinkedIn is missing the actual issue.

The real question is whether LinkedIn should have separate recognition for people who actually build their influence on the platform versus those who import it?

Because right now, they're treating both as the same thing. And that's where the frustration comes from.

The badge isn't broken. The expectations around it are.

If only there was a company that ranked and rewarded creators based on pure merit and data... 👀
