Feeling really thankful this week. 🎉

In our company all-hands, two full slides was dedicated to highlighting the BDR teams switch from 1 to many to 1-1 prospecting. And guess what!? they used my prospecting and open opp as a case study to why the 1-1 works. As someone on the earlier rung of a sales org, it honestly meant a lot. A culture that lifts up everyone in the sales org, not just the closers, is incredible to be part of.

The win itself came from 3 months of simple, consistent outreach: 5 contacts, 35 one off touches across LinkedIn, emails, and calls. Nothing fancy. Just steady effort and personalization. Eventually I got a reply: “Send me more info.”

From there, Morgan Anderson and I built a tailored deck using our vast amount of first-party social data we had on the brand and their competitors. A week later, the person leading up their influencer team reached out and an opportunity was created.

But honestly, the part that hit me hardest wasn’t finally getting the opportunity (even though that part freaking rocked too). It was seeing my name on that slide. Feeling valued. Feeling seen. Feeling like my work matters here, no matter my title.

I’m proud, energized, and ready to keep showing up for a team that shows up for its people.

Im done with turkey. Sorry just an inferior bird to chicken in practically every way. Dryer, less flavorful, so much work when I can buy a costco chicken ready to go. 

I've decided to ditch the turkey this year. Going to pick up a costco chicken before going to my parents this thursday.
