Your marketers are melting.

I’m sensing an authentic marketing crisis.

But not the one you’re thinking of.

We’re all talking about the next big AI thing, new workflows, more tools, the “future of” everything, but we’re forgetting something so basic it’s almost embarrassing to admit.

Marketers are exhausted.

→ Always putting out fires, with no time to stop and think
→ Given endless to-dos, but nobody helps them prioritize
→ Expectations are 10x bigger than the budget they get
→ Everyone pulls them in every direction: founders, sales, product
→ Juniors are doing everything, without the skills to do it all well
→ Seniors are stuck executing, without the team to back them up
→ They push content everywhere, but nothing really engages
→ New tools keep popping up, but results keep going down

I see it first-hand in the faces of marketers I collaborate with every week, and it goes way deeper than we think.

And if you look at the data… it’s not pretty:

↳ 73% of marketing departments report pressure to “do more with less.”

↳ 1 in 5 social media managers functions as a “one-person social media department.”

↳ Nearly 60% of CMOs say their resources are insufficient to meet strategic goals.

↳ 63% of CEOs rate their marketing teams as “average or below.”

More workload, less focus.

More stress, less creativity.

No wonder why 90% of the ads we see are CRAP!

We live in an age of unlimited tools and channels, where anyone can reach the world almost for free and it's probably the best moment in history to do marketing.

Yet, it has never been harder.

Because behind every campaign, every post, every dashboard, there’s a person trying to make sense of it all.

Every day. For your business.

And to be fair, most founders aren’t marketers or don’t have marketing experience.

You might not know how to lead them, how to measure their work, or how to protect them.

So if you’re a founder, stop for a minute.

Call your marketing person, your team, your agency or partner.

Ask them:

→ How are you doing?
→ What’s working and what’s not?
→ What would you do differently if you had the space to think?
→ How can I help you do your best work?

Who knows, maybe that conversation changes how you see your business, and reminds your team why they believed in it.

You know…

Better to melt hearts than marketers. 😅

Branding tries to give something to you.

Yes. I know. 
It sounds exaggerated.
But the difference is important.

We don’t want to be chased by brands.
We want to feel understood by them.

Branding builds the relationship.
Advertising activates it.

You need both working together so that when you finally ask for something, you’re speaking to someone who already cares.

So, don’t be Vecna.
Build a brand they’d actually choose to follow, not run from.

What’s the hardest part of putting your brand narrative into practice?

I wish I could build a machine that gives you clarity with one click.

But hey… bad news, that machine doesn’t exist.

Most people want that instant “now we have a strategy” feeling, as if it were a button you could just press, but strategic clarity doesn’t happen overnight.

Strategic clarity can’t be treated as an event, a 2-hour workshop, or a 3-day strategic retreat.

It’s a habit that compounds.

It builds through daily decisions and alignment, and strengthens every time a team slows down enough to think, question, define, and choose.

It’s very rare to see a startup behave like that.

The way I see it, a startup without a strategy is like a small boat in the middle of the ocean without GPS, stormy weather, and a crew rowing in different directions.

A catastrophe in the making.

And I see this lack of clarity every week.

Here are a few examples of how I helped startups gain clarity:

A startup’s messaging was aiming at “anyone” in their sector, so we defined their four core target segments, divided them into primary and secondary, and clarified what to say to each.

They ended up spending less and getting better results.

Another startup had never mapped its category, sounded identical to competitors, they even used the same colors as the leader. So we defined a differentiated point of view to set the right context for the value only they could claim, and built an attractive, more distinctive identity to help them own their own space.

Prospects started to understand them better, and sales conversations started to move faster.

Two co-founders were giving two different versions of the company in every pitch, and their website and social profiles looked like they were from different companies. So we built one narrative the whole team could stand behind, and unified how the brand showed up everywhere.

They closed a big brand client right after.

None of this happened by accident.

And none of it happened without leadership.

It took full commitment from their leaders, months of research, deep dives, workshops, cross-function discussions, and lots of creativity and hands-on work.

And the best part was seeing these teams smiling, more motivated and energetic at the end.

Like a big weight was lifted off their shoulders.

This is the part most founders underestimate, the belief that a rebranding, a repositioning, the whole idea of investing in a better strategy is “for customers”.

But the reality is that it’s also an investment in their teams.

If you want a company that moves with confidence, clarity isn’t optional. 

It’s your job as a founder to make it a priority, a common practice, and visible at all levels.

And you know exactly which button to press for that.

It’s not the ON button.

It’s START.

Ayer vi un posteo de Santiago A. Sena por el Día del Hombre que me dejó pensando. 🤔

Trabajo acompañando a mujeres ejecutivas. Hablo todo el tiempo de nuestros desafíos, de las barreras 🚧 que enfrentamos. Pero eso no significa que honrar a los hombres vaya en contra de lo que hacemos. Al contrario.

👫 Necesitamos hombres que apoyen a sus mujeres y mujeres que apoyen a sus hombres. Poder convivir en armonía, expresarnos sin miedo, reconocernos mutuamente.

Y la realidad es que hoy el hombre está atravesando una crisis de identidad muy fuerte. En Occidente, los niveles de depresión y suicidio en varones son alarmantes. Muchos cargan con mandatos que ya no los representan, con un estereotipo del "macho" que aprendieron y que no es el que eligen ser. Y necesitan poder mostrarse vulnerables sin que eso los haga menos hombres.

❤️ Hay tantos hombres buenos, honrados, trabajadores, valientes. Que sostienen, que crían desde la ternura, que lideran con integridad. Que acompañan el crecimiento de las mujeres de su vida sin sentirse amenazados.

👏 Yo celebro a los míos: mi padre, mi marido, mis tres hijos, mis amigos, ex jefes y colegas que me marcaron el camino.

Honrar la masculinidad no nos resta. Nos suma a todos.

❤️ Amoooooo mis reuniones con mis grupos Vistage Uruguay! Lo dije mil veces, ¡y perdón si soy reiterativa! Pero es que lo que se vive en ese espacio es tan especial, tan auténtico, que no puedo dejar de compartirlo.

❤️ Amo el compromiso de todas. ¡Ninguna falta! Porque ninguna se las quiere perder. Y miren que las agendas de estas mujeres están que explotan —no solo por sus responsabilidades profesionales, sino también porque son madres, la mayoría con hijos pequeños, intentando estar en todos lados... al mismo tiempo.

❤️ Amo cómo comparten sus desafíos y dilemas, con apertura, humildad y muchas ganas de escuchar otras miradas. Tanto se escuchan, que en esta reunión, quien venía con una decisión ya casi tomada… se fue con otra totalmente distinta. Ese es el poder de los pares: ayudarnos a ver esos puntos ciegos que todos tenemos al decidir.

❤️ Amo la confianza que se genera desde el minuto cero. Este miércoles se sumaron dos nuevas integrantes y pareciera que hubieran estado desde el primer día: vulnerables, abiertas, conectadas.

❤️ Amo cómo nos vamos cuando termina la reunión: empoderadas, más livianas, agradecidas, acompañadas.

Si les digo que son espacios mágicos ✨, me tienen que creer. 🙏 Gracias chicas por permitirme facilitar estos encuentros y acompañarlas en este camino de crecimiento.

❤️ Todavía con las emociones a flor de piel. Escribo esto apenas unas horas después de regresar del retiro con el grupo Vistage de mujeres empresarias que tengo el privilegio de facilitar. Las palabras del cierre siguen resonando en mí: 
“Me voy movilizada… me tocó una fibra que aún tengo que descubrir.” 
“Me llevo calma y paz. Vine acelerada y me voy en total relax.” 
“Me llevo claridad y la certeza de que este es un lugar seguro.” 
“Me voy feliz, con foco y mucha gratitud".
"Me voy con una conexión más profunda conmigo y con las demás.”

🤗 Recibí tanto agradecimiento que solo puedo devolverlo multiplicado. Gracias a cada una por entregarse con tanta apertura y generosidad. Por compartir en el “Walk of Life” fragmentos íntimos de sus vidas, por recibir con curiosidad el feedback del eneagrama (¡gracias, Ulrik Ekonen, por guiarnos en esta herramienta tan reveladora!) y por crear sus Vision Boards entre risas, música y conversaciones profundas. Todo fluyó: yoga, juegos, caminatas, abrazos, lágrimas, charlas, risas y momentos de puro disfrute.

🌸 Gracias de corazón por confiar en mí y en Vistage Uruguay para seguir creciendo, no solo como empresarias y líderes, sino como mujeres. Lo que vivimos juntas estos dos días fue más que un retiro: fue una experiencia de conexión, aprendizaje y transformación.

💫 Qué orgullo me da ver crecer las empresas de las CEOs que acompaño. Porque el crecimiento de sus negocios es, en realidad, el reflejo de su propio crecimiento como líderes y ejecutivas.

Y el de Ana Bordaberry no es la excepción.

☕ A Ana la conocí a fines de febrero de 2024. Nos tomamos un café y desde el primer instante conectamos. Hacía apenas unos meses había aceptado un gran desafío: desarrollar la marca Bubba en Uruguay. Eso implicaba abrir locales, lanzar el e-commerce, armar equipo, definir procesos, cerrar alianzas y construir una estrategia integral.

💬 Le propuse que no lo hiciera sola, sino acompañada de otras mujeres que también estaban enfrentando desafíos similares. Un espacio donde pudiera traer sus inquietudes, dilemas y decisiones importantes. Esto, más contar con una coach con más de 30 años de experiencia en gestión y liderazgo, que pudiera guiarla y acompañarla, le cerró enseguida. No podía creer que algo así existiera.

🚀 Desde entonces, su evolución ha sido enorme. Cuando la conocí, eran apenas 4 personas; hoy son más de 20. Ana creció como líder, inspirando y guiando a su gente. Logró crear y consolidar una cultura preparada para seguir creciendo. Tenían una sola tienda y hoy ya son cuatro —incluyendo la nueva tienda Black, un concepto urbano que la está rompiendo en Chile y que ahora tenemos el privilegio de disfrutar en Montevideo. Y esto recién empieza: sus planes siguen siendo ambiciosos, con más aperturas proyectadas para 2026 y 2027.

Pero Ana sabe que no está sola. Que tiene donde apoyarse. Que hay quienes la desafían, la acompañan y la sostienen.

✨ Esa es la magia de Vistage. Ese es el poder de los pares.
✨ Y esa es la fuerza de un círculo de mujeres.

✨ Estos días estuve pensando en algo que veo muchísimo en las mujeres que acompaño… y que a mí también me pasa. A veces estamos liderando empresas, equipos, proyectos… mientras por adentro estamos sosteniendo mil cosas que nadie ve.

🌧️ Un hijo que está pasando un mal momento. Un padre que necesita más de nosotras. Una pareja con la que no estamos sincronizadas. La preocupación por alguien querido que está enfermo. Todo eso sigue ahí, aunque estemos en una reunión importante o tomando decisiones que mueven el negocio. Y claro: seguimos funcionando… pero con un peso extra que no siempre nos animamos a mostrar.

🗣️ Creo que necesitamos hablar más de esto. No para victimizarnos, sino para dejar de actuar como si fuéramos de acero. Pedir ayuda, bajar la velocidad un día, admitir que no estamos al 100%. Eso también es liderar. Y, de hecho, muchas veces es lo que nos permite seguir adelante sin rompernos.

💫 Y ayer me tocó a mí… ¡a ser parte de MI propio grupo de pares! Esta vez no como Chair, sino como miembro, viviendo desde adentro la experiencia Vistage. Además, me tocó ser anfitriona en Punta del Este y presentar tema clave. Y te aseguro que me vino más que bien.

🤔 Hace días venía dándole vueltas a un dilema importante, y este encuentro fue justo lo que necesitaba. Solo el hecho de poder plantearlo me ayudó a ordenar mis ideas. Pero lo más valioso fue escuchar las preguntas, los feedbacks y los consejos de este grupo de cracks: me dieron una claridad enorme, y la decisión que parecía tan difícil… se volvió sencilla.

💬 Esto mismo es lo que viven cada una de las empresarias y ejecutivas de mis grupos: llegan con dudas, desafíos o decisiones difíciles… y se van con foco, con dirección, y sobre todo, con la sensación de no estar solas.

🙏 Me siento profundamente agradecida de tener también mi propio espacio de apoyo, rodeada de colegas que admiro y que me sostienen en este camino como Chair. ¡Qué privilegio poder aprender, crecer y compartir con personas tan generosas y comprometidas!

✨ ¿Qué puede pasar cuando nos regalamos una pausa? A veces, mucho más de lo que imaginamos. Eso ocurrió con una de las miembros de mi grupo Vistage Uruguay durante el retiro del fin de semana.

En una de las actividades, hicimos un recorrido hacia atrás en nuestras vidas. Revivimos momentos, personas y decisiones que nos marcaron y que nos trajeron hasta acá. Disfrutamos escuchando esas historias tan distintas y, a la vez, tan parecidas. Muchas recordamos esos veranos en familia: abuelos, tíos, primos, juegos interminables y vacaciones en la playa, el campo o la montaña.

🍵 Eso quedó resonando fuerte en Sofía, a quien le despertó los recuerdos de sus tardes de té con su abuela. ¿Y qué hizo? Al día siguiente puso la mesa con su mejor vajilla, un lindo mantel, tetera, mermelada y tostadas calentitas. Todo tal cual lo recordaba de esos momentos sagrados de su infancia. Llamó a sus hijas (que no entendían nada 😅) porque, con el ritmo acelerado que lleva hoy, nunca se sientan juntas a tomar el té. ¿El resultado? Las tres felices. Sus hijas por la experiencia nueva; Sofi por revivir su infancia con ellas. Como si un hilo de recuerdos familiares hubiera vuelto a conectarlas.

💛 Qué poderoso es cuando paramos la pelota, nos escuchamos y volvemos a nuestra historia, a la naturaleza, a lo que de verdad nos hace bien.

🗓️ Este mes cambiamos nuestras clásicas 121 (one-to-one… sesión de coaching individual) por 122 (one-to-two) y el resultado fue realmente espectacular. Tomar un dilema, un desafío o una decisión difícil y ponerlo sobre la mesa ya es transformador; hacerlo junto a otra mujer que lidera un negocio, gestiona equipos y vive presiones similares, lo potencia muchísimo más.

☕ Fue un día de cafés, cuadernos abiertos y conversaciones profundas. Lo más lindo es que en este formato no solo aprende quien plantea el tema: también crece quien escucha, quien aporta su mirada, quien acompaña. En estas conversaciones de a tres, todas nos llevamos algo. Yo incluida, por supuesto.

💛 Me quedé con una gratitud enorme por la confianza y la apertura de cada una. Acompañarlas en sus desafíos, en su crecimiento personal y profesional, es un privilegio que valoro muchísimo.

🙈 “No sé si estoy lista.” “Seguro hay alguien más capacitado.” “Tuve suerte.”
Frases como estas se repiten más de lo que imaginamos entre mujeres brillantes y talentosas. Es el famoso síndrome de la impostora, y no distingue jerarquías: afecta tanto a jóvenes profesionales como a directoras o CEOs consolidadas.

🎯 En el mundo corporativo, este síndrome se traduce en silencio: menos participación en reuniones, menos visibilidad y, muchas veces, menos oportunidades de crecimiento. Y cuando el talento se esconde, todos perdemos —ellas y las organizaciones.

💜 En los talleres Mujeres Que Sí creamos espacios donde estas conversaciones pueden darse sin miedo. Donde trabajamos las creencias que frenan, desarrollamos herramientas para ganar confianza y fortalecemos el liderazgo auténtico de cada participante.
