• I was approached by global Outside Broadcast and Technical Facilities Company NEP to join their UK commercial team to lead their growth in Event Cinema, Music and TV Light Entertainment business; and most recently to guide their expansion into eSports markets.  

• Sourcing new opportunities, I have secured commercial deals for several high-profile productions across Sport, eSports, and Entertainment for the company with revenues exceeding £2million gross.
 	
• I am responsible for developing and managing the commercial relationships the company has with broadcasters, content distributors and TV production companies, providing innovative technical solutions and also managing the production and technical teams assigned to deliver events I have secured for the company. To date I have secured in excess of 50 productions for the company. 

• Act as the first point of contact for all new RFI, RFP and RFQ proposals for the company and then devise and manage the response of those proposals. I produce, develop, and collate all commercial and technical information and finally deliver the pitch to recipients and track the progress of those projects.   

• Having exceeded revenue performance targets, I have grown my role to manage many of NEP’s highest profile clients, including WWE, DAZN, BBC and a portfolio of leading UK independent production companies, content distributors, national & international broadcasters and global VOD streaming platforms. I have responsibility for the account management of over 50 media clients. 

• I have successfully project managed multi-skilled teams delivering world-wide broadcast events to tight deadlines within budget including BAFTA nominated TV productions and technically innovative sports and entertainment projects in UHD HDR.

• I restructured the sales quoting process for the company developing then implementing a new UK quoting tool system. This new system ensured standardised pricing and template for UK Outside Broadcast projects.

Sony Digital Cinema					

• Drawing on my film distribution knowledge and network, I joined Sony’s digital cinema team when some UK cinemas re-equipped from 35mm film to Sony 4K digital projection systems. 

• I oversaw the negotiation of Virtual Print Fee (VPF) contracts with Sony’s film distribution clients. As Sony’s digital deployment expanded into Europe, I took on the additional responsibility of securing contracts with Hollywood film studio entities and independent film distributors in several European territories including Germany, Italy, and Denmark. 

• Overall, I was responsible for the account management of over 150 film distribution clients across Europe. These contracts I secured for Sony were worth in excess of £120million to the company. 

• Alongside my film distribution account management obligations, I was given the responsibility in developing Sony’s ‘Event Cinema’ business working with their cinema exhibition partners.  I negotiated and secured several innovative production partnerships for Sony including the world first ‘4K Live’ broadcast into cinemas with The National Theatre. 

• Other commercially successfully Event Cinema partnerships I secured for Sony was the world first cinema stand-up comedy series I produced with The Comedy Store. I also negotiated and secured theatrical projects with AELTC (Wimbledon 3D) and FIFA (4K World Cup). I have overseen the release of a multitude of content projects into cinemas worldwide either as a producer or negotiating partnerships with contents rights holders and distributors.




• My work on developing and producing Event Cinema theatrical projects expanded into new collaborations with key internal stakeholders across several Sony business sectors. I built successful commercial partnerships with Sony Music, Sony Pictures Theatrical, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Sony Playstation and Sony Sports Solutions divisions to exploit their content for the digital cinema environment.

The Works UK Distribution

• I assisted in selling into cinemas and managing the release of a broad range of feature films for an independent theatrical distributor, working as part of an alliance with Universal Pictures International Entertainment (UPIE).
	
• Exclusive responsibility for film sales and distribution to cinema clients in Ireland. Devising and implementing the theatrical release strategy of the company’s feature film portfolio to approximately 100 cinemas across Ireland.  

• Managed the logistical transportation process of delivering 35mm film prints across the UK and Ireland cinema network working with several key external stakeholders to ensure cinemas received 35mm film reels and digital film files ahead of scheduled film screenings.  
 	
• Key member of the marketing team tasked with creating theatrical campaigns for new release titles and presenting materials to our UK and Ireland cinema partners. 

• Box office and DVD sales analysis, forecasting and P&A budgeting (up to £1million).

Immediately after graduation I applied for the above post of Assistant Manager for an independent cinema chain and within two weeks of leaving university I was working in the media.  I managed the Walton-on-Thames cinema.  In addition to local cinema duties I was also seconded for a time to Mainline Pictures - the parent company of the independent Screen cinema chain.
