Hot take: AI-moderated customer interviews are actually good.

Anthropic sent me an interview link to learn about my experience with Claude Code (plus a $50 gift card, so I figured why not). It was all done via AI 🤖

The AI asked me a series of questions about my experience, and actually  listened and asked smart follow-up questions along with way. 

The whole thing felt pretty conversational.

The problem this is solving is twofold:

1/ we don't do nearly enough user research. Why? Because it's hard and annoying. You need to schedule calls, show up on Zoom, and deal with no-shows, etc.

2/ you can get around that by sending surveys, but they lack the rich feedback you get from open-ended conversations.

The cool thing about AI-moderated interviews is you get the convenience of a survey with the richness of a user interview.

So my prediction is we're going to see a ton more companies doing user research. 

And when you combine that with the speed of AI driven development, products are just gonna keep getting better, faster.

Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) is the world’s leader in digital payments. It facilitates electronic funds transfers throughout the world, most commonly through Visa-branded credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards. At the time, the leadership team at Visa was looking for an industry-savvy Cyber/Cloud Security Engineer to spearhead the management of the complete lifecycles of the company’s cybersecurity programs and projects. The lead Engineer for revamping the complete practices, I work in close collaboration with the executive team, planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks. As a Subject Matter Expert on various technologies, I function as the key-advisor leveraging expertise on numerous technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. My duties span across a number of departments to establish communication, collaborate, coordinate and supervise technicians of all capacities to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain all of Visa’s cyber/cloud security programs and procedures. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Responding to all system and/or network security breaches; Participating in the change management process; Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities; Preparing reports and documentation; etc.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an organization of 190 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world. I was brought into IMF, under heavy recommendation, to identify threats and vulnerabilities in the organization’s systems and software, then apply my skills in developing and implementing high-tech solutions to defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats, and all types of cybercrime. As the Remote Access/Network Security Engineer, I oversaw and developed/engineered secure, trusted systems; performed assessments and penetration testing; managed security technology and audit/intrusion systems; developed and fielded secure network solutions to protect against advanced persistent threats.

The Attorney General is the Chief Legal Advisor to the Government.  During my tenure with the Attorney General's office, I was in charge of planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the child support service division’s data, systems, and networks. My duties included, but were not limited to: Troubleshooting security and network problems; Evaluating the organization’s security needs and establish best practices and standards accordingly; Preparing documents and reports for the management team; etc.

Checkpoint/Network Security Eng.

•	Managed and maintained an existing network environment and making it more secure and redundant and fault tolerant and functional 24/7.
•	Provided Security & Internal LAN Management: VPN tunneling setup for FTP access and remote access, configure hardware Firewall/Gateway for intrusion protection, packet filtering, NAT, Web protection policies, Installation of Juniper Firewalls and IDS.
•	Configured VPN for other remote offices with, AAA RADIUS and TACACS+ Servers.
•	Configured and troubleshoot Checkpoint, Cisco and Juniper Netscreen 25 & 50 Firewalls and Monitoring IPS/IDS.
•	Document all the installations and configurations using Visio and Word, configured packet filtering & NAT (network address translation) for securing the internal network, security policies for the training room machines, perform regular patches and updates on time.
•	Responsible for system scanning, updating anti-virus definitions and updating Windows servers, Windows 2000, XP, LINUX servers. Do necessary research and suggest buying technologies and products, which enhance our efficiency and provide a cutting edge.
•	WEB Servers: Research and purchase hardware required for the servers, install O.S on web servers, setup Raid 0, 1, five management using hardware and software Raid controllers, manage and maintain IIS on these servers regularly update and patch for security purposes.
