• Started research to add a feature where people can buy herbal products
• Conducted 3 interviews and affinity mapped the insights, developed the user flow, designed the low-fidelity mockups and conducted 3 usability tests for the feature of Meditation

Evac-Ability

Evac-Ability is a website application to help disabled evacuees access shelter and resources that was initially developed during a 3 day Global Hackathon event organized by TH.0, and is currently being prepared for launch to assist disabled Ukrainian evacuees.

• Working primarily as a UX/UI Designer with two other UX/UI Designers 
• Executing end-to-end UX/UI design processes from the user research phase through UI design, prototyping, usability testing, iteration, and stakeholder presentation
• Working fully remotely with a team of seven members across four different time zones and 2 countries (United States and United Kingdom) using Agile methodologies and iterative development 
• Using Figma for all the design work and also to hand over to the Developer team
• Using Discord, Zoom and Google Meet for all our team meetings
• Responsible for increasing brand awareness across different social media platforms

User Experience Designer/Marketing Manager

The Opportunity Project 2022, General Assembly x US Census Bureau

Our team of 15 members including UX/UI Designers, Software Engineers and Data Analysts/Scientists built a website application to provide accessible information and guidance to under-served (low-resourced) community organizations through the complex grant application process so that they can confidently apply for grants to help increase broadband access for all.

• Interviewed 1 user and helped in creating the Competitive and Comparative Analysis
• Helped develop the Primary and the Secondary Persona
• Designed the Low-Fidelity Wireframe on Figma
• Worked on the research to finalize the Color Palette and Typography for the High-Fidelity Prototype
• Presented the final product talking about the Retrospective vs Prospective Journey Maps, the design decisions that generated the High-Fidelity Prototype and about the User Testing Feedback, in front of key stakeholders from the US Census Bureau. I was one of 5 Presenters from our Team and presented the Design and User Testing part of the product.

Our team of 3 UX/UI Designers, 2 Developers and 1 Data Scientist created a website application called Apply Wiz where the talent/job seeker can share job preferences, freelancers can add relevant jobs and admin can cross reference, share and connect with the talent and freelancers, all on the same platform. The talent will have the option to either apply by themselves or have the freelancers apply on their behalf. This product was developed during the Women History Month Equalithon event with Essteem, Girl Develop It, Adobe, PTC and the Episo foundation.

• Delegated tasks among the different team members and set a deadline for each task.
• Organized regular meetings among the designers, developers and data scientist to clarify doubts and discuss the next steps.
• Created the logo and worked on the color palette and typography for the high fidelity prototype.
• Made and delivered the presentation.

Project Manager/User Experience Designer(Hackathon Project Winner)

Our team of 3 UX/UI Designers and 3 Developers built “Outta Pocket” which is a mobile first, website application during the 3 day Hackathon event organized by General Assembly that provides users a variety of lessons about finances and money management and also a safe space to ask questions and build a community, without the fear of judgement.
• Interviewed 1 user and helped in synthesizing the data of 3 user interviews by affinity mapping and deriving the key takeaways.
• Coined the name of the app and made the first iteration of the logo.
• Developed the persona and created the mood board based on our research.
• Worked on the color palette and typography for the high fidelity prototype

Upilio - Proactive pet care

Upilio is a Pet Tech company based in Sydney, Australia. They build mobile applications for pet parents everywhere. Our team redesigned the Onboarding and Meal Planner features and gave the application a completely new aesthetic look. I was responsible for the User Research for this project and I dived into my role to empathize with users and to understand how I can support and enable our team to make better decisions. I planned out the type of research to do and how it aligns with the company's strategic direction.

• Collaborated with pattern makers and team members, cutting and assembling products to ensure prototypes met specifications.

• Achieved placement of approximately 15 designed bags and wallets at fair held in Spain in 2012.
• Managed tech packs and spec sheets; communicated designs and exact specifications to specialty manufacturing teams and oversaw development of product. 
• Worked with numerous buyers: NoaNoa, Caroll, Chattawak, Custommade, Day Off, Vivarte (Andre), Phildar, GL, Petite Mendigote, Place Des Tendances, IKKS, Kookai, Naf Naf, Noa Noa, Patrice Breal, Sandro, Becksondergaard, Raxevsky, Orsay, High, Marrass, Trussardi, Stefanel, and G-sel. 
• Interfaced with buying houses, including Integrity, Francis, and Expressions. 
• Developed samples as per buyers’ instructions and implemented changes according to buyers’ requirements.
• Followed up with buyers to determine whether they wished to place a production order.
• Ordered required amounts of leather, fabric, and/or accessories. Outlined all required materials and placed order for entire production run upon approval of production orders. 
• Communicated with buyers and buying houses daily to keep them informed about order status.

• Contributed to design of bags, wallets, clutches, belts, and garments.
• Managed tech packs, spec sheets, and merchandising. 
• Interfaced with numerous buyers, including Anthropologie, Lollipop, Urban Outfitters, Sportscraft, Anaik, Virginia, White Stuff, River Island, BDJ Paris, and Monsieur Charli.
• Developed around 10 bag designs for Greater Noida Fair, 2012. 
• Designed the front panel of a bag for an Italian buyer, incorporating weaving and riveting.
• Created swatches for development of bag collection, including knotting, ruching, weaving, pleating, smocking, and gathering.

Assistant Fashion Designer

I am an empathetic UX/UI designer who is passionate about accessibility design. My fashion design background allows me to analyze and develop solutions with a data and research-informed approach. I want to create a digital environment that addresses the needs of the broadest range of users possible as I believe "Accessibility is not an added feature, it is a feature." I am proficient in Figma. I have executed end-to-end UX/UI design processes for projects from the user research phase through UI design, wire framing, low to high-fidelity prototyping, usability testing, iteration, and stakeholder presentation, worked fully remotely with teams using Agile methodologies and iterative development. 

The latest mobile application that me and my team designed was for an Australian pet company called Upilio where we redesigned the Onboarding and Meal Planner features and gave the app a completely new aesthetic look. I dived into my role to empathize with users and understand how I can support and enable our team to make better decisions which aligns with the company's strategic direction.

I have participated in 3 Hackathons so far where I got the opportunity to work with Developers, Data Scientists and other UX Designers.

The 2nd Hackathon that I had participated was a Global Hackathon organized by TH.0 and our team won the 3rd position. It is currently being prepared for launch to assist disabled Ukrainian evacuees. 

I was the Project Manager during my 3rd Hackathaon, the Women History Month Equalithon with Essteem, Girl Develop It, Adobe, PTC and the Episo foundation, and our team won the Hackathon and I received 3 participation badges.
