From a 5-year-old dreaming with a typewriter to building a global SEO empire...

My journey has been anything but conventional.

In 2009, I was commuting hours each day to a startup in London, barely making ends meet.

After being taken advantage of during an "internship" (despite 10 years of experience)..

I made a decision that changed everything:
I bet on myself.

Started with a simple travel guide about Lisbon (when nobody knew about it).

That single website grew into a network of travel guides generating $250K/year in passive income.

I rolled the earnings into a Travel Startup (Viabam) and $500,000 in revenue in the first year.

Then COVID hit.

Everything travel-related collapsed overnight.

Instead of giving up, I spotted an opportunity: 

Helping tech companies dominate their markets through SEO.

Today, I run a specialized SEO agency that:

However, her myth-busting on this is superb:

👽 Myth 1: LinkedIn killed your reach to sell Boosts.
→ Unlikely. Destroying trust kills the platform.

👽 Myth 2: Video gets priority, so text posts died.
→ If true, video impressions would be exploding. They're not.

👽 Myth 3: LinkedIn silences women.
→ Their LLM has bias issues, yes. But zero business reason to suppress women.

👽 Myth 4: Engagement pods got nuked.
→ Pods are getting tackled, but that doesn't explain everyone's drop.

👽 Myth 5: AI created too much content.
→ True, but not enough to cause overnight platform-wide drops.

👽 Myth 6: Your SSI Score is low.
→ SSI prevents spam. It doesn't control distribution.

What actually changed?

LinkedIn launched its own LLM for content analysis and distribution.

Your feed now works like TikTok's "For You" page.

How it works:

Everyone wants success on LinkedIn.
But nobody wants to pay the price: discipline 

Everybody wants 100K followers.
But not 1000 days of showing up.

Everybody wants a thriving business.
But not 15,000 hours of grinding.

Everybody wants freedom.
But fails to see discipline it requires.

Success has a price tag.
Freedom has a price tag.
 
And it's consistency.
Every. Single. Day.

Here's where success comes from:

• Posting when your engagement is terrible 
• Creating content when you feel like you have nothing to say 
• Building your audience by talking to them daily 
• Learning marketing even when it's boring 

Not glamorous. Not exciting.
But necessary.

The problem? Most people burn out because they wing it.

They depend on motivation instead of systems.
They post randomly instead of strategically.
They quit instead of building momentum.

Discipline without a system is just torture.

Here's what I learned after analyzing 1,000+ viral posts:

The ones that break through don't follow the crowd.

They stand out because they're different from what people just saw.

Not weird different.
Just contextually different.

If everyone's posting lists, you post a story.
If everyone's sharing tips, you ask a question.
If everyone's being serious, you add humor.

The algorithm rewards posts that make people stop scrolling.

And people stop scrolling when something looks different from the last five posts they saw.

This is why the same post can flop on Monday and explode on Wednesday.

Context matters more than content.

Your post doesn't need to be revolutionary.

It just needs to be different enough to catch attention in that specific moment.

Stop trying to copy what worked for someone else last week.

Start paying attention to what's flooding your feed right now.

Then do something slightly different.

That's how you break through the noise.

How to Write LinkedIn Posts in 5 Minutes (When You Have Zero Ideas)

Modesty isn't authenticity.
And it's not how you win on LinkedIn.

Neither is bragging of course.

When I started, I'd write posts like:

"I got lucky with this client..."
"Not sure if this helps, but..."
"Just my two cents..."

I thought humility = authenticity.

It doesn't.

I was scared to own my wins.

Here's what I learned:

Authentic doesn't mean apologetic.

You can share your expertise without sounding like a robot.
You can celebrate wins without being arrogant.
You can be confident without being cocky.

The shift happened when a potential client told me:

"I almost didn't hire you because you seemed unsure of your abilities."

That hit hard.

I realized I was doing my audience a disservice.

They needed someone who believed in their own solutions.
Someone who could guide them with confidence.
Someone who owned their expertise.

Now I write differently:

Instead of: "I got lucky with this result..."
I write: "Here's the strategy that delivered this result..."

Instead of: "Not sure if this helps..."
I write: "This approach solved the same problem for 12 clients..."

Instead of: "Just my opinion..."
I write: "Based on 3 years of testing..."

The difference?

I'm still being real about my journey.
I still share failures and struggles.
I still use humor and vulnerability.

But I also own my wins.

Because false modesty isn't authentic.

It's just another mask.

Your audience doesn't need you to be perfect.

But they do need you to be confident in what you bring to the table.

Stop apologizing for your expertise.

Start owning it.

I just found my first LinkedIn post from years ago.

7 likes. 0 comments. 0 shares.

4 of those like where from my colleagues. 

Embarrassing? Maybe.

But here's what happened next:

That terrible post led to another post.
That post led to a conversation.
That conversation led to a client.
That client led to referrals.

Fast forward a year:

See what hooks grab attention.
Understand the structure that keeps people reading.

Then adapt it to your voice and experience.

I'm not talking about copying word for word.
I'm talking about learning from what works.

The best musicians didn't invent new instruments.
They learned existing songs first.
Then they found their own sound.

LinkedIn is the same.

That viral post about productivity?
Study why it worked.
What made people stop scrolling?
How did they structure the story?

Then write your own version.
Your experience.
Your lessons.
Your voice.

But use a proven framework.

I've analyzed thousands of high-performing posts.
