My # 1 rule for teaching people?

Make it fun.

I got this feedback after a corporate workshop I ran couple weeks back:

"Fantastic session Jeff, I really enjoyed it and you made it fun. Thank you!"

For me, mission accomplished.

Why?

Because there's already soooo much boredom in the world.
And people don't learn as well when they're bored.
I can back that up with science.

(But you already know it.)

I figure, why be boring?

People learn more when it's fun.
People retain more when it's fun.
People enjoy more when it's fun!

So that's how I approach every workshop I lead, every coaching call I run, every podcast I host or guest on, and every conversation I have...

I add the fun!

It's part of my promise. People appreciate it. And it works.

(And if you know me, I wouldn't have it any other way!)
