Todd A. Kackley is vice president and chief information officer for Textron Inc. In this role, he leads the business unit chief information officers and the Textron Information Services (TIS) organization. He oversees Textron's Information Management Council, responsible for developing and executing a high-performance information technology (IT) and digital strategy and participates as a member of the Textron executive leadership team.

Prior to his current role, Kackley was executive vice president and chief information officer for Bell where he developed and executed IT and digital strategy, aligning business systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity and development capabilities to the needs of the business.

Kackley joined Textron in 2008 and held various positions of increasing responsibility within IT at Textron Corporate, Bell and Textron Systems, where he was named vice president and CIO in 2015. Before joining Textron, he held various leadership positions focusing on IT strategy and enterprise system implementations within the United States and internationally.

Kackley earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker College. He also completed Textron’s Senior Executive Leadership Programs at Duke University and the University of North Carolina. He currently serves on the governing body of the Dallas Evanta CIO Forum.

Kackley led a strong team of professionals and provides strategic information technology leadership along with functional oversight to the information technology organizations within Textron Systems by ensuring the business systems, infrastructure, security and development capabilities are aligned to help support sustained profitable growth.

Kackley worked at Bell Helicopter as part of the IT leadership team, in the position of director, IT Business Process Integration. In this role, he was responsible for enterprise programs, serving as a business partner to Finance and Human Resources, and led the cross functional stabilization and optimization of key enterprise applications with a focus on people, process and technology improvements.

Kackley joined Textron as a program manager at Textron Information Systems, overseeing implementation compliance of Textron business unit SAP implementations. While in this role, he participated in a special assignment at Bell Helicopter, establishing and leading a program management office and supporting processes as part of a multi-year business systems modernization effort. He later held the role of director, SAP Center of Excellence, where he led shared services teams that supported both operations and project deliverables.
