Monitor Projects Flow
Prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion. They are involved with the planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines to assure that the project is accurately completed to schedule. They also involved in activity such as:
•	Creating full product designs and specifications using computer software modeling techniques.
•	Selecting product materials and designing the product manufacturing process.
•	Determining feature requirements.
•	Researching customer experiences and demands.
•	Improving customer experiences.
•	Understanding product selling points.
•	Identifying and filling product gaps.
•	Working alongside engineering teams.
•	Outlining a detailed product strategy.

Perform Quality Control 
All aspects of the project need to be completed to a high standard so Senior Engineers perform quality control checks throughout all stages of the schedule to ensure budgets are kept, deadlines are met, and the performance of the team is as it should be. Fine-tuning designs until they are ready for production.
•	Overseeing production and ensuring that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations

Assign Responsibilities
As tasks come in and new stages of the project are met, the Senior Engineer will assign tasks and responsibilities to members of the team so that everything is completed on time. This involves mentoring the project team and managing its performance.

Communicate with the Team
Communication is key to this role and includes letting the team know of any updates or problems, as well as providing assistance and support whenever necessary.

Monitor Compliance
Monitor the compliance of the project to ensure that industry codes and practices are adhered to, quality assurance policies are followed, and performance standards are met.

I am a passionate R&D Engineer and Intrapreneur with a strong foundation in polymer science for the oil & gas and renewable energy sectors. With over a decade of experience, I’ve been driving innovation that bridges advanced material research with real-world impact particularly in support of the energy transition and ESG agendas.

I hold a Chemical Engineering degree from UTP and a Master’s in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering from UKM. Currently, I focus on developing advanced materials that accelerate the transition toward Net Zero, including shape memory polymers for sustainable applications.

My work has contributed to recognized commercialization successes, including an award-winning innovation at the Oil & Gas Asia 2020 (Spotlight on New Technology Award) during my time at Synergy Engineering. I specialize in research strategy, product development, and IP creation.

I am also a corporate emcee, panel moderator, and technical speaker, having presented at numerous conferences, town halls, and symposiums to diverse audiences. As host of the podcast The Innovators Minutes @ T.I.M.E., I explore stories of innovation from idea pitching to commercialization (Season 1), and now (Season 2) exploring energy transition and ESG pathways.
