Woke up at 3:30 AM and had to blink twice.
 
Am I still dreaming?

We fell asleep beneath the Arctic sky.

And woke up in the middle of the night to a show by Mother Nature herself.

 Green waves dancing above us.

I’m currently traveling through Lapland to film its magic for Christoffel Travel.

And capturing the Northern Lights like this feels unreal.

Capturing the Northern Lights was on my bucket list for years.

It wasn’t supposed to happen anytime soon:

Last week, I got a call from Christoffel Travel.

“Can you shoot video for us in Lapland?”

The only problem: I had just booked my long-awaited vacation to Sri Lanka.

So my first thought was: This won’t work.

But then the plan started to come together in my head.

If I reschedule my ticket and take my girlfriend with me…

It would work!

A couple of days later, we were witnessing the mind-blowing Northern Lights.

Morning movement on snowy days.

I find it fascinating:

Watching how a city awakens. 

And snow changes everything.

People slow down.
More people walk, and parents tow their kids to school on a sled.

It even changes how people behave.
There’s more kindness.
More small conversations on the street.

These are some of my favorite snowy morning moments.

Why would you use a flash during snowfall? 📸 

One of the best aspects of creating:

The constant opportunity to learn new things. 

This time, I brought a flash into the snow.

Not to light the scene, but to light the flakes.

The result: light bouncing back creates texture and depth.

I’ve been sharing more photography lately.

And here’s why:

It's not that I am not producing film content.

Most days are spent filming and editing branded content.

But I needed air at some point.

So I stepped outside with my camera and captured winter as it was cold and beautiful.

Being out on the streets and shooting gets me into the flow quickly.

Photography is a lower-maintenance way to practice my craft.

To observe light, composition, and mood without extra film editing work.

Still creating visual stories, just in a different form.

There's a job going at Balenciaga for anyone that knows how to generate clear text using AI 😂

And this isn't the first post from them where I've seen this.

I thought brands cared about this sort of stuff?

Anyone that's used AI knows text has always been a nightmare to keep consistent.

But models like Nano Banana Pro have solved 80% of this problem.

And if it's still a problem, you could just fix it with dare I say photoshop.

I don't find it shocking that they're using AI,

I find it shocking that a brand of this size has someone generating/posting AI content for them and isn't paying attention to the continuity of their logo.

With the current risk that this type of content brings, you'd think there would be extra oversight on it, but clearly there isn't.

Sloppy, lazy and careless.

Helping people make better videos by sharing the best resources available. 900k+ followers.

Getting your first 1000 followers on any platform is hard - unless you cheat like me.

I've started 4 new AI accounts in the last few months across TikTok and Instagram.

Two brands: benkaluza.labs & benkaluza. ai

And I'm using my unfair advantage to grow them through:

Instagram collabs & TikTok reposts.

I'm leveraging my main larger account to collaborate with and repost content, so that it exposes my new accounts to my existing audience and also new ones. 

Every piece of content that makes sense gets collabed / reposted to my main.

I also go back and collab on older posts that are relevant and still being pushed out. 

The results so far:

Labs (2 months) - 23 posts 
IG: 3,131 
TikTok: 6,668 

AI (2 weeks) - 17 posts 
IG: 1,023
TikTok: 799

I've also started to collab between these two new accounts as obviously one is bigger than the other and I also don't want some of the content on my main.

The plan going forward is simple.

Keep leveraging collabs and reposts until the accounts can stand on their own and then send them to the moon.

By the end of the year I believe these will all be on 100k+.

Not very helpful if you don't already have a main account I know - sorry.

But thought this would be valuable insight into a different kind of social growth strategy.

If there's one thing I love burning my credits on, it's motion transfer AI tools. 

Ever since Runway released Act-One, I've thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with this type of technology. 

In the last 6 months we've had Act-Two, then Wan 2.2 Animate and now Kling 2.6 Motion Control. 

Combine these with the release of Nano Banana Pro, and we now have lots of freedom to achieve higher quality creative results. 

Some of my random thoughts after testing:

- Far less issues with face not being detectable compared to other models.
- Lipsync is pretty good and works best when close up. 
- Micro movements in faces are there but can still feel a bit lifeless. 
- Handles complex movement relatively well.
- Pretty good at transferring motion from a subject thats far away. 
- Morphing usually occurs when there is greater difference between the input image and driving video.
- Speed and cost per generation is a big positive.

Going to spend some more time experimenting with what can be achieved here to see if I can find any more nuance but valuable use cases.

For a long time, Runway has been one of my dream brands to work with. 

They're a team I deeply respect in the generative AI space, and I’ve been following their journey for a while.

I'm incredibly proud to share this video I produced for the launch of Gen-4.5 Image-to Video.

This model sets a new standard for visual consistency and physical accuracy.

And one of the biggest fixes? That "waxy" AI look that many other models produce.

Fine details stay coherent across the whole video instead of melting frame-to-frame.

Plus, objects now move with realistic weight, momentum, and force.

Here’s are a few ways you can use it on the platform right now:

- Movement Presets: Leveraging the new physical accuracy for precise camera moves. 

- Apps: Using pre-built tools like Motion Sketch to draw the exact movement you want. 

- Node Workflows: For power users, you can chain models like Nano Banana Pro + Gen-4.5 to build faster, custom pipelines.

It also maintains the speed of Gen-4 at comparable pricing.

From following their journey to being part of it, life doesn’t get much better as a creator.
