It’s been possible for contacts forever, but not being able to do it from the company page always drove me a little crazy.

Such a small change but such a big win for workflows like reviewing duplicates side-by-side and merging them through a Koalify 🐨 workflow!

One email address.

HubSpot says “email = unique contact,” so all five collapse into one record.
Now your sales team thinks they’re talking to Jane… but yesterday that same record switched to Robert. Confusing much?

👉 Fix: Use a custom “practice email” field for generic addresses + workflows to keep individuals separate while still allowing campaigns to reach the shared inbox.

Also experiencing franchise headaches in HubSpot? 🤯

Every location of a franchise (e.g., dental chains, pharmacies, restaurants, gyms, schools) uses the same domain name.

HubSpot says: “Cool, one company.”

But in reality? Each location often buys separately, runs separately, and could be tracked separately.

👉 Possible fix: Build company records using Name + Suburb/City and don't use the company domain name as unique identifier. That way each branch gets its own record, but still links back to the parent brand.

Are you using companies, associations labels or custom objects?
