The agency, based in Bucharest, had planned to open an office in Cluj-Napoca and the prospect of driving its growth from the ground-up was just the challenge I was looking for. 

As a Sourcing Manager, I helped develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and candidates across 5 countries, overcoming language barriers, working across multiple legal jurisdictions and very different ways of working. 
Although their business context and priorities changed, my experience working in the dynamic IT industry had proven that this complex environment is where I can thrive.

Youth@Cluj-Napoca 2015 (European Youth Capital)

In 2015, Cluj-Napoca was the youth heart of Europe, a unique opportunity for the city to prove how its youth can bring a city to life through their commitment and consistent involvement. 

It was also a unique opportunity for me to drive the way one of the most important youth projects, at the time, was shaped. Acting as vice-president I created the context in which the 37 youth and student organisations that were part of the federation began to communicate and collaborate. 

My team and I took on the responsibility of bringing all 37 of these organizations to the same table and on the same page. We helped them create a common vision, understand the federation’s mission and shaped a way for them to continue working together on the long term. 

This one-year project was the starting point for many structures that support young people both in Cluj and across Romania. Once the project was completed, I decided to take on the challenge of applying and improving my organizational, communication, people-management and development skills in the private sector.

Through best practices and flows developed using reputable research, industry-recognised tools and tactics, I put processes in the service of all the people involved in the recruitment journey - from candidates to recruiters and hiring managers. 

I’ve helped develop competency frameworks that bring efficiency, objectivity, and performance to the recruitment process. I’ve  joined forces with Employer Branding experts to build candidate experiences, campaigns, and integrated strategies that help companies stand out and engage with candidates in a more authentic way, allowing them become more competitive in the labour market. 

In short, I make sure recruitment delivers in the long-term.
