While Dj-ing deep house mixes, playing football, mountain skiing, and traveling, my major passion is e-commerce IT-products. With over 10 years of experience in Product Management, my focus in the past few years has been storefront solutions for e-commerce. I'm now the product owner of one of the most innovative shipping solutions for e-commerce out there.

I’ve always been passionate about creating e-commerce IT-products that make merchants' important jobs easier. Since I’m in charge of shipping solutions at Amasty this sparked a revolution. We decided that we would create a multi-platform storefront solution that solves accurate and cost-effective shipping. What for? To reduce the gap between shipping rates ecommerce displays at checkout and true shipping cost they bare. So we created Calcurates.

As experts, we saw that most of the available shipping solutions aren’t customizable enough. And we knew that 84% of online shoppers perceive shipping costs as too high, with 65% abandoning their carts due to expensive shipping, and even 40% abandoning their carts if no free shipping is offered. These conversion rate problems can’t be solved without proper shipping customization, so we set out to solve it. 

We decided to interview our customers and listen to what they wanted. The answer was clear. They didn’t want bells and whistles. They wanted a cost-efficient platform that was simple to use and would let them focus on running their e-commerce focused business instead of troubleshooting compatibility. Everything our customers said made sense. Just ask them what they want!

Calcurates is the new ultimate shipping SaaS for e-commerce: it helps manage and display the right shipping methods and rates at checkout with zero-coding. What do we have as a result? Cost-effective and sales-stimulating shipping, and merchants in full control of their shipping storefront with better conversion rates.
