Most new managers think that becoming a manager is the “graduation.” Truth is, it’s the reverse.

As I go through my own life, I’m realizing more and more how kindness is such a big part of the equation. It’s not just about sales and negotiation. It’s not just about doing what you love. It’s not just about hustle.

That’s why It breaks my heart that so many people think “nice guys finish last.”

If you give value to someone else first in business, you have the leverage. I truly believe that.

There's so much talk … so little consistent doing. 

Talking sh*t about anyone, even your competitors, is a waste of your time...and talking bad about someone else doesn’t make your life better 💜

I’m gonna draw it out for you all …. whose permission are you waiting for?

It's not how many hours you work. It's how productive you are in the hours you work.

People are counting the wrong number.

The business and life world for that matter is about efficient, fulfilled happiness and high impact when you’re actually awake versus wasting time on silly things...

period!

Community is the last great asset.

When you play out all these chess in your life, it's going to be the only thing left. The people who care about you and the people you care about...they are the ones who will open up the doors in your career -- and in your life.

I'll always bet on that, and I believe that to the end.

Life is ups and downs for everyone...

The reality is most people aren’t joyful because they aren’t reacting to the “down times” well…once you get cozy with the dirt, the bad, the garbage, the issues, that’s when shit gets good 😉

Don’t waste energy

Too many over focus on non controllable aspects of life!

If you have toxic employees within your organization, you’ll have other employees who are scared to have meetings with them.

You’ll have people who are spending time navigating discussions with those employees than actually executing.

Your people will be spending time on politics. Not on execution.

When you build a culture where people feel safe and excited to come to work, they won’t worry about dealing with other employees as much.

When they’re not spending any time worrying, they’re spending time executing. If they don’t have to spend 15 minutes a day bickering or figuring out who’s trying to “ruin” them, they’re free to come up with new ideas and actually do the job they were hired to do.

One of the great missteps of society over the last half century is us losing our way with understanding the value of the generations above us...

Their wisdom, their understanding, their stories. This little move I talk about in this video might change the course of someone's life... and I hope that someone actually considers it and takes action. 

Doing wonderful things for people is always a good idea but when you do it, and in return it actually brings you even more value not just for your soul but for your perspective and maybe remapping the way you see the world is something I wish for all of you.

Out of 254 kids in my high school graduating class, my class rank was 243. Literally only 11 kids were worse at school than me.

A few years back, I reached out to my high school to get my report card and now it sits in a frame in my office. You know why I have it? Because once people see success, they don’t see the sh*t beforehand.

I also have it because kids need to see this. They need to know that being a poor student doesn’t mean you’ll be successful in life … but it sure doesn’t mean you won’t be❣️

I hope we change the convo on grades and success and find the balance 💜💜💜💜

I hope you look back when you're 90 and know you've made a difference. 

So many of you will choose your careers and what you spend your life on because of your parents wishes or pushes when deep down you know it’s not right for you … 

....I have a secret for you … if you truly adore and respect and love your parents, you’re better off fighting it out now because you don’t want to end up like the millions of people who regret and dwell on listening to their folks and now find themselves deeply unhappy in their day to days … send this to a kid or a parent that needs it.

Regret is poison. Try to avoid it at all costs!

I don’t even know if my company, VaynerMedia, looks at resumes. I sure don’t.

I hire SVPs and VPs — I did two interviews the other day — and I have no clue where any candidate worked or what college they went to.

Now, do college degrees matter? Yes, of course there are several professions where you need a college degree & many others who only hire from the Ivies, but it's not the standard for everyone anymore.

My company is a real legit company—the hottest Madison Avenue agency out there—we don't even require a college degree. I couldn't tell you what college 99% of my employees went to...

I have no f*cking clue. It doesn't matter. And by the way, other, real companies are taking it out of the equation too. Some of the best engineers ... these kids today are saying, "F*ck college! I'm going to make millions by building a little app."

It's becoming like sports out here. Nobody gave a f*ck that LeBron didn't go to college ... so I think businesses are starting to become like sports...

It's your life, not anyone else's. Stop fearing their opinions, and thoughts to validate you and and your path. They don't know the truth, you do.

I can grow my hair like a goddess.

That is why I chop it off and donate it every couple of years.

This morning I went in expecting an 8-inch haircut. I walked out with over 12 inches gone.

And honestly… I had a pit in my stomach all morning.

My long hair is part of my identity, so this felt like a big deal. I instantly wanted something to make me feel better.

Chocolate-covered pretzels. Warm croissants. Cheese. A bagel with cream cheese.

All of it was calling my name.

Not because I was hungry. Because I was uncomfortable.

I caught myself thinking, “Just throw in the towel today and start fresh tomorrow.”

But instead I looked in the mirror and said:

“This does not deserve a stomach ache and the shame that comes with emotional binge eating. A child will get your beautiful hair in a wig. Yours will grow back.”

So I pulled myself together and weighed out my normal lunch. Rice, chicken chili, cottage cheese, berries. And carried on with my day.

Several hours later, I am still upset about my hair.

But I am also really proud of myself for not numbing that feeling with food.

Because the goal is not to remove every trigger from your life.

It is to learn how to sit with discomfort without outsourcing it to snacks, sugar, or “starting over tomorrow.”

We spend billions treating metabolic disease and almost nothing teaching people how to lift weights.

Health insurance premiums are rising again in 2026…

Not just because prices are higher.
But because we are using more care.
More prescriptions.
More testing.
More procedures.
More specialists.

Here is the part no one wants to say out loud:

We are paying thousands for treatment…
but almost nothing for prevention.

I have clients who:
• Pay hundreds per month for insurance
• Have high deductibles
• Still walk out of appointments with surprise bills
• Then pay out of pocket for personal training, nutrition coaching, and accountability

And guess what actually moved the needle?

Not another prescription.
Not another referral.

It was structured strength training.
It was learning how to eat in a way that stabilized blood sugar.
It was weekly accountability.

15+ pounds lost.
Better labs.
More energy.
Fewer symptoms.

And none of it covered.

Let’s talk about fairness.

Why is a $1,200 ER visit covered…
but a $300/month coaching program that prevents the ER visit is not?

Why are we willing to reimburse reactive care
but not proactive structure?

We are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars between premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket services just to maintain baseline health.

That is not sustainable.

Here is the real question:

Do you believe health coaching, personal training, and nutrition guidance should be partially covered by insurance if outcomes improve?

If not - why?

If yes - how would you structure it so it is accountable and evidence-based?

Because if health care costs keep rising…
and prevention is still optional and out-of-pocket…

We are going to keep paying for the consequences instead of the cause.

I have been tracking my food on & off for almost 5 years straight. Here’s why 👇🏻

1️⃣ It keeps me accountable. If I’m not tracking, I’m more likely to eat random chips throughout the day or a sweat treat at night. But seeing all those empty calories & sugar total up by the end of the day keeps me regulated…

2️⃣ It helps me make better choices aligned with my goals. My current goal is to burn body fat, which means my carbs, fats and protein intake need to be in check. Yes calories are important, but WHERE those calories are coming from is more important.

3️⃣ It keeps me focused. Tracking forces me to be intentional and consistent and every single meal or every single day. It keeps me narrowed in on my goals without any distractions.

Tracking food is not feasible in every season of my life, but when I do it, I notice a huge difference in the effectiveness of my efforts and speed in my results.

Vacations are actually one step back, two steps forward 🙂

You know you’re overworked when you start noticing things like:

• Constant headaches
• Waking up tired no matter how long you sleep
• A low-grade feeling of doom or “something is wrong”
• Questioning your purpose or direction
• Feeling like you can never quite catch up
• Knowing that if one more thing lands on your plate, you might snap

I’m guilty of this. And honestly, so many strong women in my community are too.

We’re Wonder Woman… until we aren’t.

Before leaving, I worked weeks ahead to make sure my clients were fully supported. Meetings were rearranged, check-ins handled early, YouTube videos pre-recorded, and my VA swooped in to keep things moving where I couldn’t. Stepping away without my laptop (or workout clothes lol) felt like a massive exhale.

I only took 4.5 days off, but wow did it do the trick.

Coming home meant grounding again. Laundry going. Beds made. My space reset. My nervous system settling. And suddenly, the work feels exciting again instead of heavy.

That’s the thing about rest. It doesn’t pull you backward. It gives you clarity, energy, and momentum you can’t force.

I never thought I would be competing against a robot in my career but here we are…

At least 5 people over the last month said to me:
”I just plugged in my information to chatGPT and it wrote me these macros and meal plan that I am trying to follow”

While AI is intriguing and helpful in many ways, I know I am not the only one concerned about the future.

Going through hormonal chaos is one of the most isolating feelings in the world.

👉🏻In high school, I could barely keep up in sports because of intense pelvic pain during cardio. It’s a problem I still don’t have answers for.

👉🏻In college, I was prescribed antibiotics for years to “fix” my acne… only to learn later that they were destroying my gut health.

👉🏻And now, as a 26-year-old who is otherwise the picture of health, I’m still dealing with irregular cycles, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and high blood sugar. I’m still searching for the right doctor, the right protocol, and the right answers.

💥The more women I speak with, the more I realize… this isn’t just my story.
It’s happening everywhere.

Women are silently battling mood swings, hair loss, weight gain, fatigue, joint pain, brain fog and when they finally seek help, they’re often told there’s nothing wrong, or that it’s “just stress.”

There’s no urgency for research. No robust support system. And it’s not fair that our work, our relationships, and our mental health suffer because we’re not taken seriously.

This is why we have to keep speaking up.
We have to keep sharing our stories.
We have to keep pushing for answers, together.

Because the more we normalize these conversations, the harder it becomes for the world to ignore them.

I have grown to hate leg day.

Does that mean I skip it?

No way!

Because that is what fitness is all about…

Repeatedly doing things you don’t want to do for the sake of the desired outcome.

I don’t actually want to cook a healthy dinner every night, but I do it because I want a healthy body composition.

I don’t actually want to spend an hour working out every day, but I do it because I care about my heart and lungs.

I don’t actually want to fall asleep on time over the weekend, but I do it because my brain and muscles need good sleep.

👉🏻 The bottom line is, fitness can be hard for people who don’t want to “go against the grain” and do things that don’t always bring them joy.

✅ But the reality is, all those sacrifices is what gets you results.

Do the things you don’t want to do, because one day you’ll see yourself in the mirror & be so proud you stuck with it!
