Complaining is, “My boss will never let me succeed.” Are you out of your f*cking mind?? Your boss at a random company? There are 87 trillion companies .. quit! 

Pound LinkedIn until your next job comes that pays you more so that you can leave.

Whether I have to write it on a napkin or post it here on LinkedIn, the message is the same… 

many of you are messing up, fear is fake but also holding you back, it’s time !

Go do your thing. Enough of the excuses and the fear, it’s time!

I turn 50 in less than 2 weeks .. and here's a message for those of you 50 and up.

You have a lot more time than you think.

It is super appropriate for you to start that business that you've always wanted right now. It is actually quite practical .. you probably actually have a much deeper understanding of what to do to be successful than the average 25-year-old that's rolling into my office looking for dollars to start their business because they've got an idea..

If I could just take the energy in my heart to deploy it into so many people's brains to understand how much time is still left in your life to do your thing .. that would make me very happy.

You may have 50—that's right, with modern medicine—you may have 50 more good years of executing .. 40 for sure!

I really think .. knock on wood .. so many of you reading this have 40 full, big years. Think back to when you were 10 .. from that moment until right now, all that life .. you've gone on the back end and people are trying to "wind down" and figure out how they're going to slow it down or "wrap it up" ..

F*ck wrapping it up, man.. Start it up!

I need today to be the day you change up who you listen to, what you listen to, and where you allow your brain 🧠 and soul to go...

This is the start of the last month of the year .. read this page from “the book” 📕 and understand the biggest truth in the world 🌎

FEAR IS FAKE … and “they" use it against you to stop 🛑 you from your joy!

One of the things that has really allowed me to "win" is not wanting it fast.

Everyone's in a rush to "make it" .. but crushing it is actually more about patience than you think

I actually don't think making it faster is a good thing .. most people really struggle with understanding that, often times, the faster "it" happens, the more vulnerable it is.

Slow down. You've got time

Either you'll hear 👂 me now or you’ll hear 👂 me when in the future...

But the quicker you act on realizing you have to attack life, not let it happen to you, is the quicker you'll enjoy this journey versus wasting it on stress and anxiety and worry ❤️

Most new managers think that becoming a manager is the “graduation.”

Truth is, it’s the reverse.

Leaders work for their employees.

That means you have to understand what your employees want at a deep level. You have to be constantly adapting to their needs and what they want from the organization.

When you go from being someone who “executes” to someone who’s managing a team, you go from trading on IQ to trading on EQ.

You go from doing the actual work to listening to employees, catering to what they want, taking the blame, and being the bigger person.

No excuses … 

all you need is 1 example, and if you can’t find it … 

BE the example.

If you have toxic employees within your organization, you'll have other employees who are scared to have meetings with them. You'll have people who are spending time navigating discussions with those employees rather than actually executing. 

Your people will be spending time on politics, not on execution. 

When you build a culture where people feel safe and excited to come to work, they won't worry about dealing with other employees as much. 

When they're not spending any time worrying, they're spending time executing. If they don't have to spend 15 minutes a day bickering or figuring out who's trying to "ruin" them, they're free to come up with new ideas and actually do the job they were hired to do.

Whatever is bothering you right now, take a breathe, be grateful for what is going well and realize what you can and can’t control. If you can’t control it, let it go and focus on what you can control, which at least is your “gratitude scale” ❤️❤️❤️

You will not be replaced by AI, but...

Demonizing new technology is holding you back.

This is what happened in '96, '97, '98... I watched the biggest companies in the world get folded because they refused to respect that the internet was here..

Now, AI is here, and you need to do something about it .. learn it .. use it .. understand it ..

If you were fired, be grateful...

Kiss the ground and thank the heavens for the opportunity to get somewhere better! This goes for jobs but this also goes for relationships in any different form.

Money, fame and power don't change who someone is ... they expose who someone is.

In the last 10-15 years, I've had the luxury of being in some pretty rare air with wildly successful people .. many of whom are more successful than me financially and fame-wise, and I'm telling you.. money is just a catalyst... the problem is, it can be a catalyst for bad.

This is the great trick of our society. People are addicted to the idea that money is going to solve all of their problems, but I've literally watched people get money and get way worse .. especially if they didn't earn their money.

Money exposes your truth. All it will do is expedite how fast people figure out who you really are, whether it's for better or for worse.

Last night, I sat in a room with 30 real estate investors.
Millionaires, lenders, wholesalers, and vendors.
The most asked question?

"How are you leveraging social media?"

Briana answered:

"We stopped every single other marketing activity except social media and SMS. There is no better ROI for us than social media. Nothing comes close."

The hosts, Briana and Steve, have done 800+ deals. 

The attendees pressed further. 

They wanted to know how. 

Briana goes into detail:

"I have tried PPC, ads, mailers, cold email, cold calls, SEO, Google ads, local groups, and networking over the past 5 years. Social media has the highest ROI for us."

She continues, 

"If you want to do it, you need a strategy. We have a content calendar. We know what types of videos we have to make each week to bring in leads." 

This social media thing is not going anywhere. 

Remember websites? It's like that, but bigger. 

And everybody knows they need to do it.

PS: Is social media a nice-to-have or a need-to-have for your business?

I have a client who sold over 600 life insurance policies without social media. 4 years later, I can finally show you how they did it.

No selling in their content.
No cold calling or DMing.
No networking.

They started a podcast, but that's not the lesson. I found that these advisors know that money is just a tool. They also know who the right client is, down to how they speak, act, and behave. And they know, on a deeper level, that their clients don't want to talk about money. This creates a massive separation between advisors who get clients from LinkedIn and advisors who don't. 

I have 7 advisors as clients as of today. All 7 decided to stop talking about the market, stocks or investing.

And start talking about YOU. 

YOU = their ideal prospect 

Advising = advice = bad 🔴
Intrigue = curiosity = good 🟢

Advisors look at money as an asset. Regular people look at money as a burden. I call it anti-advising. They pin money as the villain, and give you ideas to make yourself the hero. Same movie, different script.

TLDR: 

Nobody wants an advisor. 
Everybody wants more money. 
Adjust your marketing accordingly.

Every time I get on our monthly call, my business coach asks: “What are you grateful for?”

Last month, it was the ability to slow down.

What I thought was “slowing down” was just stopping the things I truly needed to do to keep progressing.

Fishing, golf and going to the gym are not leisure activities. They are work. The mind works even when you’re not working!

So don’t slow down, just keep doing everything you need to do to keep the engine running, including your “side hobbies” and extracurriculars.

They are curricular.

NOTHING worth doing is a “bonus.”

Everything works together to create you.

Stop hunting for an editor.

Lure them in with content. 
 
🎯 Post videos consistently. 

Good editors will DM you, asking to edit your videos. Most of the people on our team came to me first with, “Hey, I edit. Want a sample?” Sample them, go from there. 
 
🤝 Work your network. 

Ask every podcast host you know: “Who’s producing your show?” Most producers juggle 5–10 podcasts. If they’re good, they can probably take one more.
 
🧪 Give a test, not a thesis. 

Share 3–5 minutes of raw video. 

Ask for:  

• a clean edit  
• a title and thumbnail idea  
• 2 short clips with captions  

Turnaround in 48–72 hours. 

You’ll know fast.
 
✅ Good: Proactive, asks questions, offers a sample.  
❌ Bad: Misses the first deadline, uses AI for captions
 
Bottom line: publish, attract, filter, hire.
