Divisional Delivery Director within a pan-LBG Group programme of transformational change to address the bank wide end-to-end process taxonomy. The technology integration created a large and complex business with numerous systems and many repetitive, intricate processes. To achieve the goal of creating the best bank for customers the Bank needed to focus on strengthening the business - by simplifying the bank.

The End to End Process Simplification programme reduced complexity investing to create efficiency and leave a legacy of improved systems and processes across every Division in the Group. As a result the programme delivered considerable run rate benefits allowing the Bank to save to invest for the future.

E2E Simplification: Head of Portfolio - Group Operations

A Programme Manager within the Group transformation programme that culminated in the integration of Lloyds TSB and Halifax Bank of Scotland - including all associated brands - into the new banking legal entity of Lloyds Banking Group.

Interfacing the Divisions / Business Units and the Integration Execution Board providing oversight to ensure that the 'sum of the parts' fit together. Deputy to the Operations Integration Director, ensuring that the requisite programmes were delivered, as well as playing a senior management role in the 3-months of dress rehearsals and Integration event.

Core Programme Team - LTSB / HBoS Integration

Programme Director of a two-phase Simplification programme to reduce the operating cost model of the private bank. Phase one was deregulation of private bankers from specific regulated product sales; 
introduction of a referral model to an SME network of advisors and displacement of the associated compliance function. Phase two delivered a programme of product and proposition rationalisation, as well as a customer segmentation to ensure customers required Private Banking. The assignment culminated in the migration of 40,000 customers from private banking to a high-end retail proposition.

Client Engagement for Capita Consulting for National Australia Bank (Europe) as a Project Manager for a programme of work to deliver the new sales and back office operating model for the Bank’s private banking network. Delivering a two tier banking structure to maximise client opportunities, as well as the implementation of the marketing wrapper to create an integrated proposition across the transactional and wealth management proposition.

Management Training Scheme working within the retail branch network of this former building society. Alongside operational roles I undertook delivery of a programme of business enhancement projects to re-engineer the customer operating model following the merger of Bristol & West Building Society with the Bank of Ireland. Involved with the development of the group customer service model; BPR of the retail network back office process and procedures; as well as design and development of an MIS tool.
