𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝟬. 
Master it and you'll stay stronger than men half your age.

The training approach that worked when you were 25 will destroy your joints at 45. But there's a smarter way to build strength.

I learned this from Keegan Smith, who worked with professional teams like the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. He took principles from CrossFit, Poliquin, and Westside Barbell and created something genius in its simplicity.

**𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹**

Time-efficient strength building using a simple structure: sets of 5, 10, or 20 with 3, 5, or 10 reps per set.

Your options:

- 5 sets of 3 reps
- 5 sets of 5 reps
- 5 sets of 10 reps
- 10 sets of 3 reps
- 10 sets of 5 reps
- 10 sets of 10 reps

**𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀**

Start each set at the top of each minute (EMOM style).

Example: 5 sets of 10 reps. 
Each set of 10 reps takes approximately 30 seconds, and then your next set starts in 30 seconds. 
Fatigue builds quickly and progressively. 
The aim is to be working with a weight where the last set is genuinely challenging.

As you improve, you do more work in the same time. 
Because rest times are so strict the improvements made are real.

**𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰𝟬**

You can complete a strength session in 5-10 minutes. 
Track your progression easily. 
Build strength without going super heavy. Decrease injury risk.

But here's what really matters: it's gamified.

You're not chasing failure. 
You're chasing performance. 

Small wins. Adding one rep. 
Completing that final set when last week you couldn't.

This creates a positive feedback loop instead of the burnout that comes from constantly grinding to failure.

**𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸**

Leave your ego at the door. You'll look like a wimp bench pressing with 16kg dumbbells.

But that's exactly the point.

This isn't about impressing 20-year-olds in the gym. It's about still being strong, mobile, and pain-free when you're 60, 70, 80.

Progressive volume over time. 
Consistency over intensity. 
Performance over ego.

**𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆**

Pick a weight you're struggling to complete on the final set. 
First couple of times you may need to back off and drop the weight. 
That's part of the process.

The goal isn't to do more than what's sustainable. 
The goal is to show up and complete the work.
