How do you use NANO BANANA for Linkedin? 🍌

I have received tonnes of questions about Gemini's Nano Banana. 

🐵 Friends who asked me to re-generate their headshots
🙉 Clients who asked me how to create better carousels 
🙈 Even my MUM who asked me to put her in a photoshoot

Nano Banana is a very powerful AI image generation tool.
(That's also so much fun!) 

Here's what you need to do. 
1) Start with a clean base - a clear headshot works best 
2) Give AI simple instructions - do NOT complicate it 
3) Specific exactly what you want changed - e.g. Change her hair 

I found that this tool works best when you give it very specific 
instructions about ONE aspect of the image. 

The longer the instructions, the more you'd find that it 
distorts your original headshot. (I even got 3 arms once!) 

Keep your prompts short & sweet. 
And don't afraid to get creative.

Once we fix the copy, everything changes.

Here are the 5 copy mistakes killing your ad performance:

❌ No Big Idea
 Your ad blends into the feed.
✔️ Lead with one bold idea that stops the scroll.

❌ Weak Headline
 If the first line doesn’t hook, nothing else matters.
✔️ Promise a benefit or spark instant curiosity.

❌ Trying to talk to everyone
 Which means you resonate with no one.
✔️ Speak to one specific person with one specific problem.

❌ Feature dumping
 People don’t buy features. They buy outcomes.
✔️ Highlight the transformation and ROI.

❌ No clear positioning
 You look like every competitor running the same ads.
 ✔️ Make it obvious who you’re for and why you're the only choice.

Great design gets attention.
Great copy gets results.

Why Your Ads Aren’t Converting

“I’ll invest in fixing my messaging once I get more leads.”

I hear this from business owners all the time.

And on the surface, it sounds reasonable.
Budget constraints. Competing priorities. The usual.

But it’s the same logic as saying:
“I’ll build muscle first before I join the gym.”

You’re trying to out-sell unclear positioning.
And you simply can’t.

Every rep, ad, or post built on weak messaging doesn’t just underperform.
It magnifies confusion at scale.

Here’s the part most don’t want to admit.

You don’t fix sales by pushing harder.
You fix sales by making it obvious why someone should choose you in the first place.

When we reset a client’s positioning before scaling growth:

✅ Conversion rate increased 
✅ Sales conversations became easy
✅ Content started pre-selling for them

One easy way to do it is to think of it like the gym:

	1.	Warm up: Get crystal clear on who you’re for (and who you’re not).
	2.	Train form: Build a value story that shows, not tells.
	3.	Lift heavier: Scale only once clarity compounds demand for you.

So before you chase “more” content. 

Ask yourself: Would more volume amplify clarity or amplify confusion?

Because if the foundation isn’t right now,
you’ll pay for it later — in lost time, lost trust, and expensive rework.

2025 is almost over, and I took some 
time to reflect on what I have achieved this year. 

Not just what I have accomplished.
But how I felt while doing it. 

It has been 3 years since I started Close With Copy. And the truth is, I’ve never felt more satisfied. 

When I first started, I was always comparing myself to others. Saying yes to everything. Pushing myself till burnout. Feeling like I wasn’t doing enough. 

But this year, I felt so much more at peace. 

Here are the 3 biggest shifts I made. 

1. Finding my focus 

Instead of blindly chasing on financial milestones, I focused on what matters most. 

Working with clients that I love. 
Focusing on delivering value. 
Doing work that I feel passionate about. 

I want to build with intention. 
To build something I want to wake up to. 

2. Holding my Own

I used to say YES all the time out of the fear of losing opportunities.

Now, I’m choosing to say No. 
(When it doesn’t make sense.) 

I’m choosing to hold my ground. 
To value my work. To work with people whom I aligned with. 

And I have learnt that the best clients respect you, and trust you. 

3. Playing the long game

There were days I doubted my pace.
Felt like I was falling behind while everyone else sprinted ahead.

But growth isn’t a sprint.
It’s a marathon. 

This year taught me to zoom out.
To see progress in phases. 

Because the best decisions aren’t always about unlocking the next big achievement. 

But the ones that feel right to you 💛
