It's shaped by four key chemicals:

→ Oxytocin
→ Serotonin
→ Endorphins

Each one supports part of your daily life.

📈 Dopamine
↳ Boosts your mood when you make progress.

How to increase it:
→ Finish one meaningful task.
→ Make a decision you've been avoiding.
→ Write for 5-10 minutes on one clear idea.

🫂 Oxytocin
↳ Strengthens connection and emotional safety.

How to increase it:
→ Call a close friend.
→ Spend some cuddle time with your pets.
→ Help someone without expecting anything back.

🧘 Serotonin
↳ Supports your emotional balance.

How to increase it:
→ Spend 10 minutes in morning sunlight.
→ Take a long walk in nature.
→ Eat a healthy meal without rushing.

Oxytocin
↳ The chemical that's tied to connection and trust.
→ It lowers stress and supports emotional regulation.

→ Spend uninterrupted time with your pets.

↳ This helps regulate mood, sleep and emotional balance.
→ When this is low, you become more anxious and agitated.

Try:
→ Spend 10 minutes in morning sunlight.
→ Eat a healthy meal without rushing.

Endorphins
↳ This chemical helps the body manage pain and release tension.
→ They're produced through physical effort, laughter and movement.

Try:
→ Lift weights or train with intensity.
→ Dance while listening to your favourite song.

Happiness requires that you focus on the whole system, not one part.

Success isn't a once-in-a-lifetime transformation.

It's the product of your daily habits.

What most people forget is that the "boring" habits we commit to each day build up over time.

I've experienced this first-hand.

When I discovered I was biologically 25 years older than my actual age,
I couldn't overhaul my health in one night.

I had to take small steps before I started seeing actual change.

This line of thinking doesn't stop at your health,
it can change your whole life.

Here are some small habits you can focus on:

1. Do one task using the Pomodoro Technique
↳ Spend 25 minutes giving a task your full attention.
↳ This works better than doing 10 things at once.

2. Write one page of unfiltered thoughts daily
↳ Focus on your goals for the day, or reflect in the evening.
↳ I reflect on my day and see what I can change tomorrow.

3. Use the Eisenhower matrix for today's priorities
↳ Identify what is important to you today.
↳ Finish those tasks first, and you'll feel much better.

4. Say no without apologising or overexplaining
↳ Boundaries protect your time and energy.
↳ You don't need a long justification to respect yourself.

5. Sit with discomfort daily instead of fixing it
↳ Not everything needs an instant solution. 
↳ Sometimes, you need to be patient first.

6. Repeat one personal value aloud each morning
↳ It reminds you of the person you want to be.
↳ Act on that value throughout the day.

7. Track what drained you every evening
↳ Over time, you'll see patterns of what isn't working.
↳ Then, you can slowly eliminate them from your day.

8. Limit your screen inputs before 9 am
↳ Let your nervous system wake up naturally. 
↳ Work and energy will feel better throughout the day.

9. Take a 20-minute walk with no phone
↳ Give yourself space to think without any distractions.
↳ Some of your best ideas might come from this time.

None of these habits are dramatic.

That's the point.

Although they're simple, building them into your daily life will shape how you think, feel, and live.

Start with one and see how much of a difference it makes.

Biologically, I was a 74-year-old man.

Even though I was 49.

I took a health test and never expected the result.

I thought I was healthy. That moment forced me to rethink how I was living.

Years of small, bad habits had quietly caught up with me.

I sacrificed sleep to work longer hours.
Stayed permanently switched on in case of an emergency.
And barely thought about what I was eating.

I achieved my dream of building a successful business,

When I saw my biological age, I knew something had to change.

As I started improving my health, I realised how easy it is for anyone to feel older than they should.

Our habits compound over time until we feel constantly stressed and tense.

But if you focus on four core areas, you can turn that around.

Each area starts with a few simple habits.

Movement
↳ Train for the body you want to have in the future.

➡️ Build strength to protect muscle and independence.
➡️ Challenge your heart and lungs regularly.
➡️ Stay consistent, even when life gets busy.

Nutrition
↳ Keep food simple and repeatable.

➡️ Prioritise whole, unprocessed foods.
➡️ Eat enough protein to protect muscle as you age.
➡️ Be honest about alcohol and how it affects your recovery.

Recovery
↳ Protect your long-term health.

➡️ Make sleep non-negotiable.
➡️ Reduce chronic stress before it builds up.
➡️ Limit late-night stimulation and constant alerts.

Connection
↳ Health supports a meaningful life.

➡️ Invest in relationships that feel safe and supportive.
➡️ Reduce time around unnecessary negativity.
➡️ Build a sense of purpose that makes effort worthwhile.

Look around your office for a second.

Half of the room is suffering from stress.

It isn't something that only lives in your head.

Stress can affect your entire body.

It raises your cortisol, blood pressure, and feelings of anger.

And if it becomes your usual state, it drains your focus and your health.

Whenever you feel like stress is about to take over,
remember one of these methods:

STOP
→ Stop what you're doing.
→ Take a deep breath.
→ Observe the situation.
→ Proceed with intention.

Sometimes the best response is to pause before reacting.

CALM
→ Count to three
→ Assess what's really happening
→ Lower your voice
→ Move forward with a clear head

Slow down so you can stay in control.

RAIN
→ Recognise what's happening
→ Allow the feeling to exist
→ Investigate with kindness
→ Non-attachment to the outcome

Understanding how we're feeling in the moment can help our response.

PACE
→ Pause before responding
→ Acknowledge the pressure
→ Choose your next move
→ Execute with confidence

Pressure becomes manageable when you focus on the next step.

RESET
→ Recognise the stress signal
→ Exhale slowly for 4 seconds
→ Step back from the situation
→ Evaluate your options
→ Take purposeful action

Stepping back reveals what you couldn't see in the moment.

These techniques won't remove every source of stress.
But they give you control over how you respond to it.

When you notice where stress appears most often,
you can improve the environment around you.

When you're pursuing a dream, you'll find yourself at crossroads more times than you can count.

You make it through tough times
and the road ahead doesn't look any easier.

During those times, you have a choice:

That leads to their dreams quietly disappearing.

I've encountered those crossroads many times.

When I lost my leg.
When I thought my business would fail.
When I discovered my health wasn't as good as I thought.

I'm glad I made that choice each time.

you have to tell yourself, "I'm going to keep trying."

Cockroaches are almost impossible to get rid of.

And that's exactly why we can learn from them.

They can adapt and survive any situation.

That mindset wins in any area of life.

When I was younger, I wanted to make people happy.

After a brief acting opportunity, I thought I'd achieve my dream by going to drama school.

A motorcycle accident stopped that plan in its tracks.

I had my lower left leg removed and the life I imagined for myself disappeared overnight.

While recovering in hospital, I saw the impact medicine could have.

All the doctors and nurses took such good care of me.
And I realised I could still make people happy in a different way.

So I adapted.

Instead of acting, I studied medicine.

And I helped clients through dermatology.
Then brought people together by opening a restaurant.
Then I launched a skincare line.
Then I wrote a book.

And there's still more I want to do.

The path changed more than I could have imagined,
but my purpose always stayed the same.

Whatever you want to do in life, be open to all the different paths your journey could take.

A lot of people quit too early because things didn't unfold the way they expected.

If life has thrown you a curveball lately, keep going.

Your new path might be even better than what you planned for.

From your 20s to your 80s and beyond.

Your health never stays the same.

Your body changes.
Your recovery changes.

So your habits need to change too.

You don't need to become an Olympian to make sure you're healthy in your 80s.

You need to adapt to what your body needs as you age.

Here's what to prioritise at each stage:

Your 20s
↳ Strength train 3-4 times per week to build your physical foundation.
↳ Sleep 7-9 hours consistently to support recovery and brain function.
↳ Learn proper lifting technique early to prevent injuries later.

Your 30s
↳ Include mobility work each week to maintain flexibility.
↳ Maintain good posture, especially if you work at a desk.
↳ Schedule regular preventive health checks.

Your 40s
↳ Increase recovery time between intense workouts.
↳ Adjust calorie intake as energy expenditure changes.
↳ Choose joint-friendly training like swimming, cycling, or controlled strength work.

Your 50s
↳ Maintain muscle mass with regular resistance training.

The basics always work best.

When people talk about "boosting metabolism," they usually think about weight loss.

But metabolism plays a much bigger part in your overall health.

It helps your body...

→ Regulate blood sugar.
→ Turn food into energy.
→ Repair cells, balance hormones, and recover from stress.

You can't "hack" your way into having a better metabolism.

You have to bring in routines you can sustain throughout your life.

Here's how to support it daily:

When you wake up:
↳ Drink water before your morning coffee.

Early morning:
↳ Eat protein or fibre-rich meals to avoid a sugar spike.

Midday:
↳ Enjoy a large meal and walk for 10 minutes after to help digestion.

Afternoon dip:
