When I started posting consistently on LinkedIn, I wasn’t sure exactly where this would take me.

I just had thoughts I wanted to share and conversations I wanted to have.

So to celebrate 10k, here are 10 things I’ve learned so far:
(learned from all of you amazing people!)

1. Consistency is vital.
2. Clarity is also super super super vital.
3. Most people are faking it til they make it. So you might as well too!
4. It’s way better to be real than performative.
5. If something feels off work-wise, reevaluate your systems immediately. 
6. Your voice is your leverage (online and in-person)
7. The internet rewards courage.
8. You don’t need everyone. You just need your people.
9. There isn’t a perfect time to start, but earlier is better.
10. People remember how you make them feel more than what you said. (in content, leadership, sales, friendships, etc)

You don’t need to be a developer to build an AI agent.
Think of it as just teaching a new team member.
Here’s how to break it down:

1. Define the goal
What do you want the agent to do?
Example: “draft weekly LinkedIn posts based on top-performing content”

2. Gather the knowledge
Feed the agent examples, guides, or reference materials
Example: past posts, brand voice guidelines, content templates

3. Set rules and constraints
Define limits and standards
Example: tone, format, style, ethical boundaries

4. Simulate tasks
Test the agent on small assignments first
Refine prompts and instructions based on results

5. Iterate and improve
Review outputs, give feedback, update knowledge and rules
Repeat until the agent reliably produces high-quality results

Teaching an agent is like training a team member.
Clear goals, examples, rules, testing, and feedback.

All you need is clarity and iteration.

Training AI Agents Without Code

If I had only 15 min a day for LinkedIn, here’s what I’d do:
(It's not write a post!)

When you are early in the game, the highest leverage activity on LinkedIn is not posting.
It is commenting + connecting.

Comments put you directly in front of the exact people you want to notice you.

Every strong comment:
- rides the distribution of someone else’s post
- shows up in their audience’s feed
- signals you are thoughtful and worthwhile

And timing matters more than people realize.
Commenting within the first hour of a post going live gives you massive impression leverage.
Wayy more than posting at random hours (ie scrolling in bed before sleep)

Then there are your connections.
LinkedIn doesn’t cap weekly connection requests just for fun.
They’re capped because they are extremely valuable.

Every new connection:
- puts your future posts in their feed
- opens a DM channel
- compounds over time

The simple daily playbook to get started:

1. 5 -10 thoughtful comments on posts from people you want in your orbit.
 Founders. Operators. Buyers. Creators. etc.
 Add perspective. Add experience. Add a real thought.

2. Then send a few high intent connection requests.
 Context matters here!!

Try this consistently for a month and see what happens.

Posting builds credibility.
Comments build visibility.
And early on, visibility wins.
