I have started my career as an academic, lecturing as an assistant at the institute where i did my degree. While lecturing I was also working as a researcher for the institute and other parties as well. This experience allowed me to have a more wider vision of different social and economic issues. 
Few years later I had what I consider a 360° degrees change in my professional life, starting a new job in the financial field, as a finance assistant to a major multinational oil and gas company. This was totally new to me and the excitement was as big as it was the fear. But since I am persistent I gave my all to learn and contribute positevely to the company, which I can proudly say that it was a goal achieved. I have had a wonderful experience and learn the specifics of this growing industry.
Later on, I also worked as an advisor for a shipyard, which was also another different experience and that had provided me other skills.
Generally speaking, the different areas I have worked on allowed me to have a broad experience in different areas, making it possible to provide a valuable contribution in many fields. My experience in lecturing, research, reporting and communication allows me to board myself in and add value to the environment I am in.
