As the CEO of Beacon I help European companies in the hospitality and leisure industry save on their labor cost by outsourcing guest support and reservations teams as well as back-office administration.

Before starting Beacon I spent over a decade in the hospitality industry running hotels, coworking space and restaurants in Belgium, Bali and Sri Lanka.

As a Chartered Environmentalist I bring 17 years of experience managing environmental compliance across major international construction and infrastructure projects including some of the world’s largest giga-projects.

I specialise in practical on-site implementation of environmental controls and corporate level environmental risk management, creating, developing and implementing ISO 14001:2015 certified Environmental Management Systems across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Core Expertise:

Site Compliance Implementation: Direct oversight of environmental controls, inspections, audits, and contractor management on active construction sites.

Standards & Systems: Developed and deployed organisation wide procedures, guidance, and compliance frameworks across entire development zones and multinational organisations.

ESG Governance: Created bespoke ESG initiatives, KPIs, and reporting systems to ensure accountability and track sustainability outcomes.

Training & Capacity Building: Designed and delivered cross cultural training programmes for contractors and internal teams.

I’m currently self-funding an MBA to support a long term transition into business sustainability, my goal is to merge my sustainability expertise with commercial insight, driving impact at scale.

On a personal note, I’m a stepfather to two wonderful daughters, the proud caretaker of 18 dogs (+ one beloved chicken named Hermann), a regular gym goer and a sci-fi enthusiast. Based in the Philippines since 2019, I am also a partner in a local coffee business dedicated to supporting local farmers and lifting their communities out of poverty.
