10+ years ago, I began my awakening journey, uncovering disturbing truths hidden in plain sight while navigating through the complexity of life.  I traveled to 32+ countries and worked with various healers, Lightworkers, Shamans, and Guides to amplify my light and activate my Gifts.   

It's beautiful to see so many waking up from the lies we have been told. However, I know firsthand that this journey isn't easy.

Reviews all internal incident reports for assigned programs and verifies compliance with timely external reporting as required (OCFS, OMH, NYSED, OASAS, NYS Justice Center) and monitors internal incident management databases and conducts trending and data analysis monthly and upon request.  Serves as a liaison for all external investigations (NYS Justice Center), including fulfilling documentation requests, scheduling interviews, etc. Conducts special investigations of incidents as required by program regulations and/or assigned internally. Reports externally as required and internally to the Incident Review Committee and program leaders.  Facilitates the Incident Review Committees for assigned programs (OMH, OCFS, SED, OASAS). Facilitates a collaborative process with program leaders for corrective action plans (CAPs) for internal and external audits: CAP development; timely CAP submission; and monitoring of CAP completion and sustained implementation. Fulfills all requirements for external incident management data reporting (NIMRS) including clearing backlog of outstanding reports. Exercises full compliance with the VOH Code of Conduct and all applicable policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality and security for all client and staff related materials and/or records.

Model and teach day to day operations for newly hired and current staff in OCFS, OMH, and OASAS residential programs.  Demonstrate leadership and coach skills relating to child care, crisis management, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence.  Debrief shifts to process areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement and learning.  Work with program managers and supervisors to develop culture of team work, develop trust, and encourage open and constructive communication.  Partner with each program to develop program specific training needs as well as work to increase staff retention.  Coach and mentor staff on a variety of topics focused on the development of de-escalation skills, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, milieu management, family dynamics, environment management and engagement skills with a trauma and person centered lens. Under my supervision, the case managers at both the Monroe County and Ontario County locations increased compliance for developing in-depth trauma informed safety plans, completing strength based case notes, increased family engagement, and strengthened relationships with agency and county partners. 
Assisted in cultural shift of Non-Secure Detention that included trauma informed practice and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) into daily staff coaching which lead to a reduction in incidents and restraints.
During programmatic changes, I assumed additional management responsibilities to help usher leadership and staff through policy and procedural changes to meet regulatory guidelines and mandates. Included in my tasks was Case Record Review, perform program audits for OCFS regulation compliance, and chair of the Incident Review Committee.  When themes were identified, I collaborated with the leadership team to create action plans for needed improvements.

Celebration, Worked to make the planning process and the event embody the Monroe County Children’s System of Care values by redesigning the program format, increasing overall attendance for the event, and increasing participation of families, youth, and community providers.
