Responsible for managing digital marketing projects across a diverse client base, including FMCG, Offshore Training & Construction.

Key responsibilities include managing an annual six-figure paid advertising budget across a diverse client base, where I'm responsible for every aspect of paid campaign management, including (but not limited to): keyword research, ad copy writing and landing page optimisation, tracking management & set up and utilising all appropriate ad extensions.

A key highlight was the building & optimisation from the ground up of Google ads for a very niche FMCG client on the Shopify platform, that generated £250,000 in revenue during its lifetime. Those figures were achieved through a variety of data-driven touches such as:

 - Looking at the times of day where CTR & conversion were at their highest & scheduling the ads accordingly
 - Assessing & introducing new advertising formats such as Performance Max
 - Advertising just the seasonal best sellers, rather than the entire 400+ product feed so the focus was on products most likely to sell

Improved SEO health of the Magento website through use of the SEMRush tool, removing toxic backlinks and monitoring for issues such as duplicate meta descriptions and broken links.

Successful launch of the revamped gordonandmacphail.com on the Umbraco CMS and the newly launched retail-gordonandmacphail.com on the Shopify platform in October 2019. After initially launching in June 2017, the G&M website was redeveloped in line with our new brand positioning and the storytelling/content elements increase as you go up through our ranges. I managed all stages of the process including budgeting, internal communications, brief/scope writing and inter-agency communications.

Successful launch of gordonandmacphail.com in June 2017. A fifteen month project which I project managed from conception right through the agency selection process and ultimately to launch. The site was nominated in the 'website' category at the 2017 Scottish Creative Awards.
